28' Unfortunately (and I DO mean unfortunately) it ain't mine :( . It's a friend of mine who lives in Nashville. Used to live in SD, CA. Just bought it and couldn't figure how to post pics on a boating forum so I helped him out. I get to ride in it this coming Sunday. Can't wait! :clap_1:

P.S. If it was mine I'd be more than happy to give you a ride. I did buy a new boat last Thursday and will post pics of it. Still debating on bringing it down in July. Only problem is the damage (over time) the saltwater will do to the trailer.

I knew you got a new one - you pulled a fast one on me.

The one in the pic - 100mph and $100k?

Over $100K (well over  ) and it ran 80mph on GPS in 105 Lake Havasu City, AZ heat with 5 big dudes and 100 gal's of fuel. I'd say mid 80's with a much lighter load.

P.S. There are 2 speed indicators in a boat:

#1 BSS = the speed the boats speedo reads

and

#2 GPS = the speed the boat really runs 😀

Where do you launch it?

If I were in SoWal, I hear there are ramps around the 331 bridge.

In the Nooga I launch at a ramp just 5 minutes from my house when the boat is on the trailer at my house.

95% of the time the boat is in a drystorage building 30 min away from my house.

Yup, we get there 3-4 times per summer. Love it! We usually get the ribs. The only problem I have with Steves is the "Good Ol Boy Network" They really play favorites on who gets seated when. I guess once per month doesn't get me into that club 😀 . We'll contiue to go. We love it there. Look for us next time. We now have a Chaparral 243 Sunesta, White, Blue, Yellow with a stand up bimini. I would recognize MrLollygal so I'll keep my eyes peeled

We are not part of the good ole boy network, and usually have to wait. But we've been calling ahead and putting our name on the list as we head out. We still sit on the boat and have cocktails for awhile after we get there. It's usually a fun night, unless you're really late leaving the restaurant . . . then you have to be on the lookout for the bozo fisherman with NO LIGHTS!!! Maybe we'll see you there soon!
