WOO HOO!! I'm ratting myself out here- we are in SoWal- got in last night- and our first stop was the Seagrove Villas to see DARLENE! She is the best- the thrill of meeting her is almost helping with the feeling that a wine bottle is crammed into the side of my head.:blink: Y'all - I am not lying when I say that this gal is just too neat! It was a beautiful starry night at her pool- met her nice friends and very handsome son. "Local celebs" were also in attendance.😀

I took some pics and will post after she gives the approval.

There is computer access at our remote location- so I get to SoWal while in SoWal this trip. Heading to the beach later- I want to see a manatee!!

I know this is an old thread, but I am just now getting around to reading everything..man, I wish all of you had gone on vacation the same time as me so I wouldn't have so much catching up on the board to do!!!

It was so nice of the dargs to drive straight from Ft. Walton to the Villa's. I am so glad they did. As Jen-ay said, it was a perfect night. I so enjoyed meeting Jen-ay (and mr. darg). Jen-ay what can I say? Beautiful!!! I have to tell you no one could ever get word in with both of us in the same room.😀 I felt like I had known her forever!!!! Of course the other local celebs and my old friends just made the meeting perfect. Jfunn.....I miss you already. You are my surfer girl...all the kids, especially my son and Rachel loved, loved you. SJ, perfect in every way!!!

Jen-ay..I give my permission to post the pictures..'cuz I really want to see them also!!!!

I'm trying to keep us all cool. :cool: Mind over matter. When my kids were little and we'd have a nasty heat wave I'd rent winter movies like Snowball Express, pull the shades and pretend it was winter. They'd cool off in no time. We'd reverse it in the winter, watch Summer Rental or some beach movie and pretend we were warm. Hope therapy is helping them get over this 😀
