I actually did miss the Saturday night musical events- biz dinner ran too long 'cause it was pretty fun!

But we made up for it last night and saw Dread at the Red Bar.:clap_1: And a really nice sunset too- bonus evening.:cool:

Hey - all I have to say is, I wish I had a biz dinner that took me to Sowal. Sounds like you made the most of it! I do have business trips to Miami and LA before the year is up, but I know where I'd rather go...... :roll:

Yeah - that's it. It is awful here, and an air quality alert too I understand, so yuk. I have to water later- everything green looks like it is gasping around here. It was pretty warm at the beach, but a "good" warm. You can smile through it. Here, I just mutter the "eff" word every 5 minutes.:blink:


Sidenote- anybody have a magic remedy for fire ant bites? I have 3 bites/stings, and I am about to rub the skin off my foot. I hate those things- you never know how many got you until 24 hours later, when they really start to itch!

Break a basil leaf open and rub it onto the bites. It takes away the itch. ;-)

Fire Ants are bad! GTTBD got bitten by fire ants while we were at the lake weekend before last. His ankle is still swollen and looks quite nasty. 😱

I wish I could- it's off to ballet camp, then get the dogs from the "spa". That's going to be a nice check- I loaded them up on all the extras. They should be exhausted.

One of the pharmacists here recommended Dermoplast the last time I got hit bad by fire ants, and it seemed to work pretty well.

Thanks! I now have a fire ant/poison ivy combo going on. Add the pygmy rattler, and I had a total nature encounter while in SoWal last weekend!
