i quit looking at playgirl several years ago, the men were all so feminine looking to me, not my idea of a hunk... i hate it when a guy has a prettier complexion than me ! and i would love to paint my toenails - if i could see and/or reach them !

ok forget playgirl, maybe there is a new smut magazine that I do not know of.....
btw, i did not know that I had toenails.....

Dippity doo was the bomb. We also used giant rollers (orange juice cans) to try to make it straight. I wanted hair like Peggy Lipton from the Mod Squad.

I remember dippity doo............and also remember my mom always putting Tony perms in my hair.......and having to sleep with those pink sponge rollars on Saturday nite, for Sunday morning church

My daughter used those pink sponges rollers in a ponytail the night before they would have a danceteam/cheerleading competition in high school. Those things are still popular.

Blue hair special, my granna did the same thing. That stuff never moved, looked like it would break if you touched it.

I don't know either. Some mornings when I get up my hair looks like I have been sleeping "standing on my head."

Now THAT'S bad hair. I remember mom rolling our hair (4 girls) once a week while we watched TV. I already have curly hair, she was trying to tame it. I never fussed over Beths hair like my mom did ours. Of course Bethie was such a tomboy she really only wanted a ponytail.

I had really curly hair as a child. It was curly enough on it's own. But apparently, not enough for my mother. She would plop me down and curl it around her finger into freakin' sausage curls! All the way around my head! I looked like some kind of mutated "Shirley Temple" wanna-be!!!!
No wonder I have issues with my mom! :funn:
