SoWal Soiree In October

Since so many SoWalers will be around in October, that horrible month;-) and now we have no Donna party to attend :( , Beachbummett suggested hosting a part-tay location at the Clubhouse at Watersound on
October 14th.:clap_1:

We thought a costume or mask party would be a lot of funn.
BB is looking at music possibilities and to make it more funn and diverse, I think it would be easiest to BYOB and finger food.
Any suggestions would be welcomed.

So PM me or Beachbummett if you are going to show up or your
alter ego: funn:

Allifunn,
Other than my serious inquiry about children being invited, I was in jest, too. My "impressionable" 13 yr old has seen many things, including accidently winding up on Bourbon St. during the "Southern Decadence" gay pride parade a few years ago. Nothing shocks him anymore.

Have one. But if it's on ESPN, can't see it. And do rabbit ears work from stations as far away as PC if it's on ABC/etc.?

I guess we could use the T-Mobile AirCard, listen to Mick Hubert ("Oh, my!")online, and crank up the car every once in a while so the car battery doesn't die. That happened to us once. It was so embarrassing.

I think Beach Runner is trying to turn the October Soiree into a tailgate party.

He is remarkably zen about everything he experiences.

Let's see how he does after living through "Wild on SoWal".:funn:

Great idea!

This weekend being the exception for various reasons, I am never incommunicado from college football. Once you've experienced the thrill of Gator football (and, now, basketball), you're life is forever changed.

BTW as a Tulane alum, the thrill of NOLA cuisine has also been a life-changing experience.

Look forward to seeing you all in October, that is, unless I get tickets for UF/AU. Maybe a beachfront online connection to the game and NOLA BBQ shrimp for the tailgate?

Oh, and congrats to AU for being #3. Hey, and congrats to the SEC for being half of the top 10.

:lolabove: ...stellar idea!

I suggest (demand, ;-) ) this be costume optional. Some people have an aversion to costumes and might not come.

Costumes are not mandatory, just funn if anyone wants to wear one or just be in disguise  I was going to come as Ms Piggy, but I don't have any SoWal stickers to put on my teets. :funn:
