It's been a while since we've talked about our pet peeves, and I think of new ones all the time. Today, it was..

Subway. (Trying to eat healthy). Man in front of me ordering 5 different sandwiches. Bless his heart, he had a list. Man orders 5 drinks too. I order my stuff. The sandwich makers get my stuff mixed up with his. Soooo, they have to unwrap all the sandwiches. :bang: THEN, this skinny wench comes in with 4 kids. BEFORE she even orders, she grabs 4 cups and those kids proceed to cut in front of the poor 5 sandwich man, who's now trying to get his 5 drinks. :bang: And, I'm still behind him. Now, I didn't care so much for myself, but that poor man! So that's my 2 pet peeves: food people who can't keep orders straight, and kids that have no manners!

Fair warning...if someone would happen upon your vehicle when it is on sowal property, anything can and usually does come about. :wave:

I drove a pickup truck for 7 years. If anything (like sticky residue) happens to my little car, I SWEAR I'll cry all over you.

I would NEVER do that with a bumper sticker, but I absolutely refused to stick my school parking permit on my brand new car. I told the security officer that since it was a convertible, I didn't want to put it in the back windshield. He told me I could just tuck it in the front somewhere. (I didn't use tape, either. No residue at all.)

That's probably just as tacky, but, like I said, I'm not about to gunk up my tiny little car with some big ol' sticker!

You need the parking permit that hangs from the rear view mirror. Go to the office and demand they change! No tape, no sticky, no residue, wala!

People who don't get out of the way for an emergency vehicle!

Seriously, there is no way what you are doing/where you are going is more important than where the ambulance, fire truck or police car is headed w/ flashing lights and sirens!

Treat every ambulance, fire truck, or police car like it's going to your house and get out of the way!

Nah, that doesn't count--you're being a revolutionary, NoHall! Refusing to give in to The Man! For me, it's all about the bumper sticker, which usually reflects the car owner's support of or belief in something. How serious can the driver be about the cause/organization/presidential candidate/dog breed if he or she wants to be able remove the sticker in a flash? "Last week I loved golden retrievers, but this week I'm all about the basset hound." :floor:
Where on earth did you see someone do that? That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. The scotch tape is going to leave a sticky residue that's even worse than the bumper sticker residue. Duh!
I see it more than you'd think. Keep a lookout, I bet you will, too!

Well, let's just say it explains some of that, and it also explains why some out-of-towners returned home with either new car decorations or some residue. :funn:

Aw, girls....it's just residue. In fact, I still have three stickers. One SoWal one that I put on, one rather hastily applied one that's kinda crooked and one Waco Ramblers one that was placed just perfect. I can't bring myself to remove any of 'em. :biggrin:

If I had a truck, or a cute little car I would most likely be full of stickers. But I love my baby. No sticky stickers. :angry: Sorry Kurt.:wave:
