Florida should be ranked #2

That's all I'm going to say.

All personal attacks on Kfunn should come here. I know...I deserve them. Rightfully so. So bring them.

Scheduled induction. Due date is Oct. 16, but my firstborn was over 10 lbs so we don't want to go there again.

 I can't imagine being preggers. I feel sorry for whoever/whatever has to go through that with me.

My husband is so lucky. I'm just now, today, losing my temper. (it was over leftover pizza). I figure I can be crabby till Tuesday if I want, then really bite his head off.

:floor: Yes, probably so. I make no promises however. There is no news right now except ... back on topic here ... as Kimmi predicted, the Gators are No. 2:blink:

Well, UF is #2 in the AP poll, the problem is that they are #3 in both Harris and USA Today/Coaches polls. BCS rankings are derived from Harris and USA Today, not AP (this is how USC weaseled a claim to a national championship in 2003). If Florida, USC and Ohio State all win out, it is unlikely the Gators would be in the BCS championship game. Auburn can tell you all about that sick feeling.:bang:

Exactly. USC wins a squeeker against Washington or other so-so teams and never budges, but Auburn not blowing-out South Carolina results in the poor Aubbies dropping. :bang:

This is true. Though I still view the AP poll as more legit. Anyhoo if the Gators run the table (BIG if) I can't imagine they wouldn't be in the BSC championship, because their schedule is so ridiculous. Too early to worry about such things regardless.

I don't remember the specifics or where I saw it, but I saw something on TV that basically mapped out how Auburn would not get to go to Tempe if they, OSU and USC won out (before the piggies beat AU of course). Just gotta hope one of those guys stumbles.:idontno:

They are. And I have a brilliant pitch for Jfunn. Why don't we just go anyway? As long as it's not Tennessee, I'm down. This is a conversation we need to have. I'm having a major New Orleans craving...And as long as the boss is on her boat, she doesn't care where I am.

Whitey and Tbag have to be in...and then we will move forward with my plan!

This will no doubt cause hard feelings among some, but what is wrong with Tennessee?

We were just talking about NOLA. But could we get a room? We aren't going to Tempe -- too many bad memories. We flew out for the national championship when the Gators played Nebraska, didn't have tickets, and bought them on the street for a boatload of money. The Gators were so blown out by Nebraska that we left at the end of the first quarter (not to mention the fact that there were, like, 10 people in the stadium in orange and blue), went back to The Arizona Biltmore, changed from orange/blue to black, and went out to dinner. Not a good day.

But if any of you get to Tempe, you *must* eat at Los Dos Molinos. The salsa is so spicy there that I thought I was having a seizure when I ate it. It was like a wave of strange sensations going from by head all the way down my back. I almost called 911. The food is awesome.

I vividly remember some Florida knuckleheads spray painting the 'Welcome to Louisiana' sign with something about going to Tempe via Bourbon Street. They actually drove to Arizona! At least you didn't have to endure that:lol:

Oh, it is just another world. We've been several times on corporate outings and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Except for the low humidity. My husband and daughter both have really dry skin, and they are miserable there after a few days.

Sorry. Off thread.

Urban Meyer is worried about "Florida Nonsense."

The writer of the article says, "Everything seems to be setting up perfectly for Florida to make it to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game. And the Gators suddenly are being promoted as serious contenders for the national title. That kind of talk, to Meyer, is Florida nonsense. Meyer said his players don't need to be listening to that kind of stuff. 'I think it's about making decisions when you go out on University Avenue after a big win like that,' Meyer said. 'I've seen it. The human element is everywhere. I've seen it destroy families, churches, businesses, careers. If you have self-discipline and self-respect, you don't have to worry about it.' "

What a sweet note, thank you! I have two boys, 6 and 3, and they are actually pretty excited. So glad Steeleing1's induction went smoothly and quickly. That is good to hear. I'm a bit scared of pitocin. But since it's No. 3 it should be OK.

TFT: are you going to take your laptop to the hospital so you can give us up to the minute info on your labor, birth experience and newest little one?
