The Friends of Camp Helen State Park will host a fundraiser on Oct. 13 offering spooky tales of the past.
The Ghost and History Party will include tours of the park from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Bay County storytellers will share spooky stories for children and adults. Native Americans, pirates and Confederate soldiers, as well as members of the Hicks and Comer families, will come to life during the event. Everyone is invited to wear costumes.
The cost is $5 per person or $15 per family. Goblin punch and Halloween cookies will be served.

Are you going, Tootsie. I thought this sounded interesting. The first time I visited Camp Helen, I thought it was pretty spooky (in a funn way), and that was during the day.

Well, if you are attending the Alys Beach Belly Dancing Contest, that would be good reason to cover your face with a (hockey) mask, but make sure it is white in color, and bring a straw to sip on the wine. I cannot believe that they actually serve RED wine at Alys Beach. :funn:

Yay, I'm just so glad Friday the 13th is over!:clap_1: I was a basket case all day from worrying about her and her boyfriend driving down from Atlanta on Friday the 13th. Happy to say she's here. It's so good to have her with us at the beach!

BTW if you hear a car with an unbelievable sound system, that'd be her.
