I was so afraid Jonathon was going to get voted out last night! I bet you were on pins and needles last night. So glad he didn't. He's one of my favorites and I like the Aito tribe best. He is playing the game hard but I think he's doing it in a good way. I also like Ozzy and Yul. Ozzy rocks man, I've never in all my years of watching Survivor see someone that can swim or fish like that. I'm in awe of the beautiful scenery there as well.

I agree, OL, I was afraid that Jonathan would get voted off. Their tribe is definitely not going hungry like some of the tribes have done in the past. Ozzy will not get voted off anytime soon, he is too valuable to them.

Do you have "On Demand" with your cable? The newest Survivor is available on my cable the Monday or Tuesday following the first showing.

I missed Survivor last night (though I saw the results through the Internet). I didn't like it that someone on his team wanted to vote Jonathan off!

Jonathan is having funn playing the game (he and his wife strategize pretty well). Though we really don't know how it turned out for him, we do know that he enjoyed doing it -- he's 44 so he figured it was a chance to really test himself and get in very good shape. (He did).

He has pretty blue eyes doesn't he?!?

This photo is from New Years in SoWal 06. Jon, me, my husband Charlie, and Jon and Charlie's mother. Recognize the hat? Same one he wears on Survivor. He loves that hat...

I do! I thought they probably threw away the stuff they wore or auctioned it off on Ebay. I'm glad it survived! Loved the picture! You'll have to catch that episode when you return! I'm hoping he stays a lot longer. He's strong and smart and plays the game well so he's viewed as a threat. We ca only hope!

Though I didn't see the last show, my husband said that the way they edited the show, there were a lot of shots of his blue eyes ("shifty blue eyes" was the way my husband described the shots). He may be coming off as increasingly manipulative. I'll see for myself soon.

As for the hat, it was his own hat that he brought to the Survivor show with him. I'm sure it will be a family heirloom because it already had a reputation in the family as a special hat. That photo was from last New Years in SoWal.

Glad you're all watching the show and enjoying it. We're sure having a lot of fun with it.

I loved your family pic, Paula!

Did I tell you that the last night Mr. Kitty was in Hong Kong he ate at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse?

Thanks, Sueshore. I'm going out to eat somewhere tonight -- something like the Foreign Correspondents Club? I may try the Ruth's Chris steakhouse because people seem to like it so much. We have great restaurants right here at the hotel and last night I had a new favorite dessert -- one of those rich chocolate pudding cakes that's cake-like on the outside and the chocolate oozes out the middle when you cut into it. It was pretty amazing. I'll be looking for recipes online for that one.
