During the Vietnam War Trump hid out in America to avoid the conflict overseas. This week Trump hid out in Vietnam to avoid the conflict in America.

And Jared & Ivanka took advantage of the distractions to sneak off to make mischief in Saudi Arabia.

How to whine and cry the best? Those idiots didn't even have sense enough to defend the president (they can't anyway) and were more concerned with a book an movie deal for Cohen.
Their only concern was it would outsell Individual One’s ghost written fictions.

House Oversight Committee will seek answers under oath from Don Jr. and Ivanka. It’s about time Ivanka is forced to stop playing the dumb blonde daughterwife.

President Trump will stand firm until we achieve the complete denuclearization of North Korea.
Mike Pence 3/1/2019

The U.S. military is preparing to announce that annual large-scale joint exercises conducted with South Korea every spring will no longer be held, according to two U.S. defense officials.

The major U.S.-South Korea exercises are being curtailed as part of the Trump administration's effort to ease tensions with North Korea, the officials said.

Ha! Ha! There is nothing this lowlife won't try to cheat.

Trump's Nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize Was Apparently Forged. Twice.

OSLO — The protocol for nominating and choosing recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize is one of the world’s most scrutinized and secretive.
A total of 329 candidates — 217 individuals and 112 organizations — are being considered for this year’s prize, which will be announced in October.
The identities of the candidates are kept secret, and indeed, the Norwegian Nobel Committee, which awards the prizes, is forbidden from divulging any information about its deliberations for 50 years, and even then, only for scholarship purposes and at its discretion.
But a wrinkle in this time-honored process — the peace prize was first awarded in 1901 — emerged on Tuesday, when the committee announced that it had uncovered what appeared to be a forged nomination of President Trump for the prize. The matter has been referred to the Oslo police for investigation.
Moreover, the forgery appears to have occurred twice: Olav Njolstad, the secretary of the five-member committee, said it appeared that a forged nomination of Mr. Trump for the prize was also submitted last year — and was also referred to the police. (The earlier forgery was not disclosed to the public at the time.)

Here's one of the darker scenarios that pops into my mind, and who is to know what is far-fetched in these days. It seems to be the consensus that Trump may be racking up possible indictments (collusion/ conspiracy might not be one of them, but there are plenty of others) . It is also the opinion of many in the Department of Justice that a sitting president cannot or should not be indicted. But, when he is no longer president he is fully eligible to be indicted for all these things. Therefore, in Trump's mind, the only way to avoid a flood of indictments is to remain president as long as he can. That means rigging the election of 2020, and if he still loses, then to invalidate the election by "executive order" or simply call a "national emergency" and declare he must remain in office because it's a national emergency. And since McConnell seems to have the right to not call any opposing bill to a vote in the Senate, the deal is done. Have a happy day.

If the House could pass a "resolution of disapproval" on trump's present emergency declaration and force a vote in the Senate, wouldn't they also be able to do the same in the scenario you describe? Surely the Senate would pass (McConnell has to take a vote in these cases) and override a veto on something like this. Otherwise, we're really screwed and our form of government would totally fall apart.

The resolution to stop the present “emergency” is expected to pass, and be vetoed, but the vote to over-ride is not expected to pass. The sane scenario could play out in the next “emergency”. It all comes down to just how corrupt the Republicans in the Senate are. Troubling...

Your "dark scenerio" reflection is most likely spawned from the reality of an unelectable pool of radical Democratic Presidential hopefuls and intra-party fights. Your party is imploding while all Trump has to do is sit back and watch. Coupled with the diminishing likelyhood of finding evidence of collusion, I can almost smell your fear. Stay thirsty my friend.

Collusion isn’t all that Trump is being investigated for. His attempts to evade the laws of this country has been going on for decades. I’m narrowing my focus to the flood of indictments that will be waiting for him when he “retires”. I believe he had 90 lawsuits pending when he took office. I imagine he will an additional 90 when he ends his regime.

The only ones talking about collusion are Trump and his idiot supporters. Everyone else is talking about conspiracy, fraud, tax evasion, emoluments violations, perjury. etc, etc, etc, . . . . . .

Maybe he was just signing a creative non-disclosure agreement? <eye roll>
I'm so tired of his embarrassments! His MO when bad news is engulfing him: Distract. Deflect. Project.

btw: The photo is from early campaign days, December 2015, but it still tells me more than I care to know about trump.
