Thank you for the context. Although my heritage is Irish and some Cherokee, I disagree that all "real Americans" are people from Europe. Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Phillipines, South American countries, MEXICO, African countries have all brought us people with a dream, an ideal of America and what they can be AS AMERICANS. Where it gets off the rails is when people want to come here and maintain their "tribes", and create enclaves and not assimilate into America.

I have held this belief for as long as I have been politically aware: Our diversity is our strength, provided that we live and aspire to be Americans.

Although I was born here, believe me I have seen it first hand. My wife was born in Europe, be is now a naturalized citizen. I have asked her, do you think of yourself as from your home country or are you an American? She proudly says "I am American".

SIDE NOTE: Seek out and attend a naturalization ceremony. They usually have them on a Saturday @ The Saenger Theater in Pensacola. It is an emotional, uplifting event that you will never forget. Seeing new Americans "being born" is something to see.

JFK attempted to directly take on the Fed when he had the US Treasury start minting $2 and $5 US TREASURY notes, not the fiat Federal Reserve notes. I stop right there on this topic.

After months of engaging you all, I have seen no evidence of ANY solutions, ideas of how you all would run things if you were POTUS. It's just this one dimensional, broken record of calling Trump names. Everything is Bush's, excuse me..Trump's fault. Just a barren landscape of ideas. Frankly, it's just boring.

Was hoping for vigorous debate, defending your ideas and solutions. Not this bunch. You just don't have any.

I don't think you can blame Carter for the high inflation, which is what made high interest rates necessary. Inflation was caused partly by the easy credit of the late 60s early 70s. It was Carter appointee, Fed chairman Paul Volker, who continued to hold interest rates high, which eventually curbed inflation and brought the economy on the way to recovery. That recovery did not start until Reagan's second term in 1984. As far as high gas prices, give me a break. You can not blame carter for the emergence of the energy crisis, whether you believe it was real or not. Maybe you have some Red Pill conspiracy theories that debunk all this.

Harkening back to Democratic presidents from half a century ago? Really? Maybe some of the troubles in this country were created by Republicans: Three Trillion Dollar Iraq War "paid for" by tax cuts for the rich. The Republican Recession of 2008. The current tax cuts for the rich. The current tariff wars. The alienation of every ally we have on this planet. These are just a couple of thing that come to mind. There are about 14 bills passed by the House that are sitting on McConnell's desk. They aren't a barren landscape of ideas. They are plans to improve this country accepted by a majority vote of one third of this nation's government, but because they don't make money for the 1%, they will never come to a vote.

If France has a birthright citizenship policy, then he'd have dual citizenship. You can't stop a country from granting your child citizenship.
