Holy crap.A man who refuses to learn is occupying the Oval Office. Sad. Pathetic.
"We don't even know what's coming at us. All we know is it's possibly the biggest. I have — I'm not sure that I've ever even heard of a Category 5. I knew it existed," President Trump said at a briefing with officials at FEMA's headquarters.

president* LowIQ45 today blamed mental illness for the latest shootings just like Republicans always do. Do they not realize none of these white male mass killers have been found mentally incompetent to stand trial? Maybe just maybe it’s about time they abandon this failed line of reason and search for another cause. I find it ludicrous to claim guns don’t kill people, but opioids do.

I voted for him and plan on doing it again in 2020! After watching the democratic debates, no other options. Change my mind!

$3.6B in military construction funds diverted to build wall prez. Fukwaffle promised Mexico would pay for. This will affect 127 projects designed to upgrade bases at home and abroad. Why does he hate our service members? Sad.

This isn’t from Borowitz or The Onion.
Today in the Oval Office prez. Dickwad presented a map of Dorian’s projected path with a sharpie line drawn outside of the cone of uncertainty passing through Alabama as proof he was right in his false claims (lie) that the state was in the path of the hurricane. He is now altering official weather service maps to cover his lies.
Over to Drifter who will now offer up a defense.

Unfortunately so depressed by current slate AGAIN, I may just avoid the Presidential Ticket altogether. #whennochoiceisachoice

A no vote or third party vote is not a solution.

If I’m not mistaken, all the Democratic candidates have a grasp on reality. Not so on the Republican slate.

Unfortunately she is as close to the middle I can find.

Really, both of these items seem to be innate objects. I have to pull the trigger or put the pill in my mouth. Where does personal responsibility come into play?

Really, both of these items seem to be innate objects. I have to pull the trigger or put the pill in my mouth. Where does personal responsibility come into play?Where does prevention come in? Is it about averting disaster, or about casting blame and then washing your hands afterward and saying "not my fault, not my problem". It should be obvious that certain dangers to society should be regulated, regardless of how "safe" they are in the hands of "responsible" people. This goes for drugs, guns, cars, elevators, you name it.

Where does personal responsibility come into play?Leader just explained it as well as anyone could. The point I was trying to make is our govt. tells us one is a crisis and the other we just need to learn to live with.

Well, you can help the nation lose a lying grifting conman and bring some normalcy and respect back to the Oval Office. Help take us back to the days when the controversies were sleeveless dresses, tan suits and mustard choices.

Bob, I'm just curious. Do you consider Biden to be too progressive? Biden seems centrist to me. I think Warren's ideas of reforming the financial system are almost radical (but very, very needed). I think she would make a good president, but has some deficits in the karisma/likeability category. All the Democratic candidates seem very intelligent, thoughtful, and articulate. If you like coherent sentences, vote Blue!!

I hope there is one.I’m not sure what you are saying. Do you not think any of these Democrats are intelligent and articulate enough to do a better job than Trump? I wish I understood what policies you aspire to. The GOP has completely ignored fiscal responsibility. What else do they stand for? Racism, deceit, and religious intolerance seem to be their foremost platforms.

Racism, deceit, and religious intolerance seem to be their foremost platforms. My feeling is many of them may truly be better able to do the job of leading the country. Many are unelectable in my opinion based on their policies. Could I vote for Biden or Klobuchar, sure. It would be easy for me to back my Union and support Biden but at this point I can't. I could say that I like Klobuchar for many reasons. My issue is that I have to know they can win or I would rather find a third party. For me it isn't always about the win, but about seeing a need for a choice. To that point, I know I will not vote for the President and as I said the one I am more than likely to vote for today may not make it out of the Primaries. As for explaining myself, I wish I could be as cut and dry as Leader, Poppa and you, but in the end it is my vote and I am not one to be bullied or shamed into something. I look at my options, I find someone I can believe, even if I don't agree with everything.

I don't understand, especially after this last election, how anybody can entertain the idea of voting for a third party, with no chance of winning, or abstaining because a candidate "doesn't measure up"... This isn't a trial run. It's a simply binary choice of the better of two candidates. People that abstain from voting because candidates aren't up to their standards, are tip toeing on the edge of treason.
The boat is sinking. The Republicans say "bail with me in the front of the boat". The Democrats say "bail with me in the back of the boat" . The person that doesn't vote, doesn't bail... do you see the problem?

It is obvious that you aren't given much of a choice if you register Democrat, even when someone throws their hat in the ring to close the primary you are limited. I understand your position but it seems we are at a stalemate. I find it a little funny that similar words are used by those who want me to vote Republican. So I guess there are commonalities in the Party's.

I've voted in every election in South Walton since 1983. I'm a life-long Democrat. I've change my affiliation twice just to be able to have some effect in the Republican Primaries in this county. It would never occur to me to not vote because I didn't like either candidate. Politics and governance is a game of slowly pulling the Titanic an inch or two to the left or right to avoid the iceberg. Sitting on my hands is not an option.
