Did you support the "fourth branch" when they went after President Nixon. I mean, they seemed to be reporting on it before his reelection. They also had an unidentified source, shall we say "whistleblower", everyone complains of bias, let's see how this all pans out.

I will get excoriated on here, but the parallels I see with Nixon and Trump they were/are wanting to wind down the US's involvement in foreign wars that, in the end, enrich the Military Industrial (Congressional) Complex. (Eisenhower wanted to include "congressional" in his famous exit speech). JFK too, but we know he was not allowed to leave in shame. And behind each POTUS is/was a "yes man" to the NeoCon war hawks.

So the media with Nixon and with Trump are just mouthpieces for the bankers' war industry. Yes, I get it that Trump's style offends certain people, but he is showing that he wants to end these senseless, expensive, destructive conflicts. Remember, Obama got us into Syria.

Let me make it perfectly clear. I fully support the men and women who are serving and have served our country. I support them so much that I want them to protect and defend our homeland, not necessarily be sent overseas for something that we have/had no business being involved in.

Bombing of Cambodia was being investigated prior to the Watergate. President Nixon wasn't impeached for getting us out of Vietnam, He was impeached because he taped his conversations about the break in. President Trump is being bashed by his own party for the exit from Syria, not the shadiness he is being accused of and the impeachment inquiry is moving forward on. That was quite a deflection though. I thought and still do think Syria was a bad move under President Obama as I did with Iraq under President Bush. The Middle East is full of Countries that are capable of fighting wars that we don't need to be drug into. I get meeting the enemy where they are before they meet us on our home turf, but seems we have tendency to stick our nose in where it don't belong. Saying that, if I was the Kurds I would be pissed and knowing this is the second time the US did this. I would venture to guess we will be visiting this issue in the near future. I say we don't need to be in Saudi, we aren't Mercenaries and Blackwater could provide them with protection.

Oh, by the way, there are four whistleblowers so far. Two about the phone call extortion event, and two more reporting political irregularities with Trump and Pence's tax returns by the IRS. In a sense, every witness called to testify is one extra whistleblower.

This is funny. Trump is using the excuse "Rick Perry told me to call Ukraine, it wasn't me mommy". Perry, says "Yeah, I told him to make the call". Perry, too stupid to realize what's going on even after all the fanfare, thinks that the topic of the call was all about energy.
