Guess General Mattis took a shot at the President recently. So I have a couple of thoughts about it.
#1 The President is the same guy he was prior to the election and hasn't changed. #2 You knew what he was when he hired you and yet you still went to work for him.

“If I win I may never see my property — I may never see these places again. But because I’m going to be working for you, I’m not going to have time to go golfing, believe me. Believe me. Believe me, folks.”And for eight years didn’t trump criticize Obama’s golfing?
The lying and hypocrisy goes right over your head.

It's always a joyous occasion when I can use one of the left's own "news sources" to deliver the sobering news.
After Obama spying on the Trump campaign before the election, Hillary shafting Bernie and still losing, trying to flip electors post- election, trying to do away with the Electoral College altogether, "Russian election hacking" that ended up being fake Facebook accounts, MUELLER's two year long investigation that ended up as a "nothing burger", and the secret "whistleblower" approaching a TV whore Democratic Congressman with "immpeachable offenses" we get, from CNN, the bad news.
Here ya go. Pay attention to the lower right numbers.
Hope it doesn't ruin your weekends.

Golf Digest article shows that Trump, with a 2.8 handicap and 19 club championships ranks number ONE among POTUS golfers. LOL.
Donald Trump tops ranking of golfing presidents - Golf Digest
Donald Trump is the 16th of the past 19 American presidents to play golf. And immediately upon entering office he became the best player of the group, thanks to his current 2.8 Handicap Index and his 19 club championship victories. According to our Jaime Diaz, who twice played golf with Trump in recent years, the best part of his game is his ball-striking, although Trump himself says it's his putting.
Trump knocked John F. Kennedy from the No. 1 spot in our previous ranking of the best golf presidents. Here's how our ranking shakes out, with an assist from Don Van Natta Jr., author of the book, First Off the Tee: Presidential Hackers, Duffers, and Cheaters from Taft to Bush.

We all knew a large percentage of the nation were idiots and now, as you demonstrate daily, that percentage and then some has dumbed down to the level of the QuidproPotus.

Pompeo feels frustrated and victimized amid impeachment controversy - CNNPolitics
So I was never a fan of John Bolton, because he was a Hawk, but I didn't think would be a yes man and he wasn't. I had a ton of respect for General Mattis and that kind of went the way of the dinosaur when he took a job with the President. Now Secretary Pompeo should have learned from what went on with Secretary Tillerson who at least left intact with some of his dignity. Point is, these folks who keep signing up with this administration, are supposed to be some highly intelligent folks but they desire power over what is right. Then when they figure it out they have experienced intimidation, humiliation and loss of respect. I truly don't get it. Although I am not a fan of Speaker Pelosi, I did appreciate her holding off/ resisting impeachment. My views/ opinion of the President has not changed since he started to run for the office. I think it is time for impeachment and I think it is time for the Senate as the more deliberative body to put aside partisanship and emotion and look at the evidence when it is presented. Like any trial, I will accept the decision. Personally I hope the House puts forth a convincing case.

Pompeo feels frustrated and victimized amid impeachment controversy - CNNPoliticsHe has always been a lying shyster and should have never been a candidate, but the low info right believed the BS he spread on a fake tv show and bought it and are still buying it. The senate under Mitchthebitch will do nothing. The only hope is he will be further exposed for what POS he is and enough independents will take notice. Forget the right, as one can witness on this site they are all in no matter what facts to his self dealings are presented.

A State Department official focused on Ukraine policy told Congress this week he raised concerns about Hunter Biden’s role on the board of a Ukrainian natural gas firm in 2015, but was rebuffed by former Vice President Joe Biden’s staff, Fox News has confirmed.
Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent, who testified behind closed doors before committees spearheading the formal House impeachment inquiry, told congressional investigators that he had qualms about Hunter Biden’s role on the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings.
The Washington Post first reported details of Kent’s testimony on Friday, which included his concerns that the younger Biden’s role in the company could complicate U.S. diplomatic efforts with Ukrainian officials, and raised the issue of a possible conflict of interest. Kent also testified that he was worried that Hunter Biden’s position would make Ukrainian officials think he was a channel of influence to his father, who was vice president at the time.

Regarding why folks go to work at the White House: they desire power, they want to build their resume by taking a relatively low paying government job so they can cash in post-WH employment. This applies no matter the POTUS. Like you stated in another post, they know what they are signing up for.
As for Pompeo, he is put there to be the inside man for the globalist agenda, the Agenda 21 folks. He's a yes man to them. And his other job is supposed to be throttling Trump (good luck).
What exactly that has not already been explored and tried to make stick are you all proposing to impeach and remove him from office FOR? I get he disgusts the left, I get that he can be a bully, but what actions has he committed that rise to the level of reversing the people's will by electing him? Oh, and "knowing what you signed up for when you decided to do it"....if it comes down to trying to remove him from office, I predict the silent majority will not sit still and allow that.

trump is trying to unblame Russia’s interference and their role his election in 2016 and discredit the findings of US intelligence agencies by using foreign governments and conspiracy theories to offer an alternative narrative. He claims he wants to know the origins of the Russian investigation. He knows all he has to do is ask any of our intelligence agencies for the answer and they will happily provide the answer without a subpoena.
