How does the Jan 6th protestors crimes compare to all of the other protests from 2020? Now how does the level at which they were punished line up? This is the kind of unequal actions that causes some to see things a certain way. All I’m gonna say is be careful because some people aren’t playing

IMO accountability seems to be lacking at a lot of levels. What I perceive some folks accepting on one side but not the other side is hypocritical. BLM Antifa riots are and were local issues for the most part and were from my perspective were not handled very well by Local LEO and Government. January 6th was different because it could have been different had the information that was available been used to beef up security that day. I have no issue with what has been charged and the sentences imposed. My view is that those folks who enter my Capitol had seditious intent. As I did not sit as judge and jury on any of the cases that is only my opinion. Not sure what your last sentence was meaning but I won't be playing either.

Actually quite the opposite, personally I don't care if you green or plaid, I always want to best person for the job regardless of race, gender, sexual preference, whatever, but the left likes to check as many boxes as they can. I think I explained I did not like the way local LEO and Government handled it at the local level. I also don't believe the riots with BLM Antifa or the Nazi/ Rascist in Charlottesville had the same affect as the rioters storming the Capitol did. To me the difference is the location and the symbolism of what they attempted to do. Accountability is what I require, whether in Portland or Washington DC, but whether you agree or not I think the January 6 riot was more important because of the symbolism of the attack. The same way I think 9/11 was a more significant terrorist attack than the 1993 attack was, January 6th was more significant to me.

When I went we had to have a ticket with a scheduled date and time. We got ours through our representative Matt Gaetz who we already knew was good at hooking up people.
