Okay let’s see how much I know about you by answering this question: Do you believe Donald J. Trump is a tough guy and a real "man"?
Mput
If you want a real answer give me more
Tough in what respect?
Physically/ no
I’m business/ he knows how to bully with his money and position
As president / sort of because I think he would call people bluff
Same kind of answer for ‘real man’
Being a ‘man’ is simple yet complicated
Give me the context you mean and I will give my answer
I will say this, I wouldn’t invite him to my house for dinner and I hope he’s not our nominee.

Is he truthful?
Does he respect truth?
Is he tough enough to handle criticism?
Agree he is not physically tough so good answer.

I think your definition of "man" may be different.
A man should be honest and truthful even when it hurts.
A man should respect women and learn how to change old ways.
A man should be able to handle criticism and acknowledge when he is wrong.

The fact that you would rather call this complicated says a lot...

All I have to do is google Chase and you, the results speak volumes. Why do you think I’m angry, wound up and not okay. You’re the one who is always bragging about your ”baseball career.” I’m just pointing out that I knew one of the greats and he would’ve thought you were an idiot. I’m not angry at all, just proud that I knew a such a good guy, kinda like a second dad. A man who didn’t want to be remembered for his success, just that he wanted to go out knowing that he was kind and gentle to everyone who knew him. BTW, Chase didn’t have boisterous tough man laugh or chuckle, instead he had an infectious giggle. So many good memories of a guy just trying to be the best human he could be.

Guys like him love guys like me because we work. If you think he would have thought I’m an idiot you didn’t really know him or me. If you think he was kind and gentle on the field you don’t know the game. If you think he was a good ballplayer you don’t know the game. He was in the minors for 20+ years. That would have been a brutal existence. He coached when coaches didn’t make much money. He was a bird dog for the Cardinals if you even know what that means. I’ll bet he was a motherf*cker to play for and that’s why they loved him and that’s why he was successful. That’s back when ball players were guys. Your ignorance is offensive to the very few of us that know the game. Put your red nose back on
It sounds to me like Chase would try to counsel you on how to be a man in addition to be a good ball player...

This is why you annoy me
I simply asked you to ask what you want to know in an effort to have a real conversation and you want to try to take jabs
So let’s do it your way
You’re soft at best
You think about trump all day everyday and he couldn’t care less if you walked into oncoming traffic
I find this hysterical
He’s the dog and your a flea

Why do you think my response to your question was a jab? Do you agree with my response or not? You do not have to resort to calling me names or anyone else. Your behaving like a bully and I think you are proud of that. Why? It is not necessary. We can have a conversation without all the bravado and trying to prove we are real men. Real conversation takes maturity and control of our ego or whatever it is you are trying to prove. Just stop with the real man BS and talk about the subject which happens to be the lack of integrity of someone you admire and will vote to represent you and your family.

Yes a man should be honest all the time, hurt should not factor in unless dealing with small children
Yes a man should respect woman until the point that they shouldn't
As far as learning how to change old ways it depend on what you are talking about
Yes a man should be able to handle criticism and admit when he is wrong

Understand that I never throw the first punch but I do come back hard because once someone shows me they do not want to be civil then lets be all the way uncivil (at least thats how I react)

Whenever someone asks me something here I give my honest opinion on the matter

Lets try again, if there is anything you would like to ask me please feel free
Thanks

Kinzinger? Lt. Colonel Kinzinger who serve in Iraq and Afghanistan and was totally unafraid of the consequences of doing his duty to help discover what happened on Jan. 6?
Your belief this American is less of man than pussygrabbing, heel spur chickensht, traitorous, lying, convicted rapist, trump says a hell of lot about you and those like you.
I didn't say anyone was less then anyone else
What I did say is he is a rino who was fake crying during the jan 6th show
You should try a little pussygrabbing every now and then, may spice things up for you

Okay but it is not complicated.

Sometimes the truth is going to hurt. We all makes mistakes. Sometimes they are stupid mistakes. Sometimes you would rather not admit the mistake. Sometimes there will be a price to pay. I know you understand this.

Changing old ways is not complicated. It was not that long ago that women could not own property or vote or do anything but stay home and have babies. Just one example of thousands.

You keep talking about throwing punches. Why? Either it is a conversation or not. When we react instead of reason it is usually not civil. You can do a lot better and so can I.

Here is some truth that may or may not hurt. From the way you "react" in this forum I think you are not being honest with yourself. The guy you support is not good for this country or you. I think you know this but you have gotten caught up in "owning the libs". You have taken it to the level of street fighting and trying to prove that you are a bigger man. I hear that BS on fox news and conservative talk shows and even some from my own family. It makes me sick every time I hear it but I try not to react. I actually want to understand how so many men believe that a politician or a talk show can make you believe that supporting a movement to "own the libs" has any value whatsoever. It does not make you a real man. Kind of the opposite. So here is the truth. We do not live in a world where being left or right makes us a man. It is all a scam made to divide us. There are issues. There are differences of opinions. There is right and wrong. There is truth and lies. Reacting is emotion and truth takes reason...

Being a man can be extremely complicated

Lets say you and the wife are out for dinner
A guy walks up and smacks her on the bottom
What is a man to do?
Do you punch him in the mouth?
Do you ask him why he did it?
Do you make sure shes OK first?

All of the answers are right so which do you go with?

Yes we all make mistakes but admitting them shouldn't be an issue
Making mistakes is just part of the process to be embarrassed or whatever by this means you don't understand this point

Just last week I laid out a set of concrete stairs and did not notice a head room issue above
I had to jackhammer them out and redo them
I have laid out thousands of stairs but I didn't check it
I'm not embarrassed but it is going cost me a pretty penny
All the guys on site wanted me to hide this mistake but I tore them down and am redoing them because it is the right thing to do

Nobody said changing ways is complicated
I said it depends what your talking about
Bringing up stuff from 2 or 3 generations ago is odd because we are in a constant state of improvement

The last paragraph is where you lose me
To say I am not honest with myself just means you have no idea who you are talking to
In order to lie to any of you I would have to care about you
If anything I am too honest in my day to day but you don't know me at all so your judgement is off base and it means nothing to me
To say trump is not good for the country is your opinion
If my choices are trump and biden I go with trump every time, I don't need a saint to read me the gospel

I, nor no one I know cares about owning the libs, they will do that to themselves
I find it funny that the left is the fuel on which trump runs
If your side would just let him slip into the night then he would go away, he feeds on your attention.

I have never felt the need to be the bigger man, I know what I am
I don't like to fight but when someone throws first I enjoy the retaliation through multiplication

Being a man has nothing to do with politics at all

I would punch him in the mouth first because he crossed a line. Then I would go to jail because I may have broken his jaw. This has happened to a cousin of mine who I had to bail out of jail a long time ago. Eventually he went to trial and it changed his life. I asked him would he do things different now that he has learned that actions have consequences. He said he would tell the guy that if he does that again that he would file charges. You or I could make that same mistake in punching the guy in the mouth but there will be consequences. Those consequences should give us pause to choose a better way. I don’t really know what I would do but I hope I would find a better way than hitting the guy in the mouth. I believe I would ask my wife if she is okay first then ask the guy to apologize to my wife. I have lived and learned long enough to know that when I react instead of reason it usually turns out to be a mistake.

I think you did the right thing by fixing that mistake. It was not really complicated right? We just choose to do the right thing and move on. Punching yourself in the mouth does not help anything. I have done things like that also.

When you say you never throw the first punch can you honestly say that is the truth? Think before you react. You know what the truth is. Don’t blame others for your reactions or actions.

Voting has consequences. If the choice is Biden or Trump to represent me and my family I will of course vote for Biden. So there is a big difference between you and I but it is not because we are some left or right half humans. It is because we have a different value system. One of those individuals is a divider and has no problem excluding and one is really trying to be a Uniter by including. So instead of left and right why don’t we call it what it is: uniting or dividing. Think about it before you react. Which one is better?

Matt, if all people would understand that they are drinking poison by reacting to these culture war messages in song or speech then we might all get along just a little better. The person that broke down the message in that song is smarter than most of us put together. She is 100% correct!!!

What we all need to fear is a modern day civil war created by this culture war that is the platform of the GOP's leading two candidates. The consequences of this movement to "own the libs" is a threat to not just our Democracy but to all of us as individuals even those who support it. It is a serious misjudgement by those who support trump or desantis. Even if they win they will lose the things in life that make our time here special. It will become a country of haves and have nots…

Charles Pierce has a simple solution to the justice system's Trump problem: Toss him in a cell.

...Slap a GPS tracker on one of his swollen ankles and confine him to his banana farm in Florida. Drop a multimegaton fine on him every time he goes batshit on social media. Freeze his assets. Treat him like a mob boss, a drug kingpin, or the leader of a terrorist cell because, in one way or another, he is all three of those things.

If his corporal's guard of a legal team wants to litigate these measures, let them have at it. If his mouthbreathing devotees want to make trouble, point them towards the hundreds of people now doing time for what they did on January 6. If he wants to test the strength of the rule of law, let the rule of law at least give him a battle without tying its hands through timidity and anticipatory dread. It's worth fighting for.

the rest:
I Have an Idea for Solving The Justice System's Donald Trump Problem
Seems like Charles is a communist buffoon that needs a smack in the mouth
If you think trump is the problem just read what this clown was brave or stupid enough to write down

I hate to burst your bubble but it is already a country of have and have nots
I'm pretty sure this has been the way of societies since the beginning
Its funny for you to say the right created our culture war
Its also funny how you hang onto phases like 'own the libs' let me help you out, nobody cares
Like I stated earlier the libs will own themselves, al they need is enough time
Just look at the video Matt posted
This divisive woman and clown host have taken 1 mans heart felt song and are calling it a right wing dog whistle
What an absolute joke
The best part is watching these 2 own themselves
I love how she says child trafficking and welfare is a assumed democrat issue, why would she make this assumption?
Then she related welfare to buying democrat votes

Why does everything have to be twisted to fit everyones narrative?
Can't this just be 1 mans song singing about how he feels?

Its funny to see the left start adding Desantis in all the Trump talk now because they want to kill two birds with one stone

I don't want to see it but I think civil war is unavoidable becasue there is no longer any civil communication across the isle
Just my opinion

Wouldn’t a “real man” deliver the smack himself?
Poppa
You are old enough to remember that we as a society never had the problems we have now and (in my opinion) its because of the fact that there are not consequences to being a jerk
Now you have this clowns (from both sides) sitting behind their keyboards and saying stuff that would have never been acceptable while we were young
The world was a better place when 2 guys could go and work their s**t out the old school way

I'll never forget when I was a kid (maybe 12-14ish) and I was working for my father on a concrete crew
These 2 guys were bickering back and forth for hours
It bubbled over and everyone watched these 2 guys beat the heck out of each other for a couple of minutes and then the problem was gone
They got back on the wall and were friends again

Say whatever you want but us older guys know this was and should still be the way

I love watching videos of these antifa kids screaming in cops faces and then when the cop slugs the kid they literally cannot process what just happened, they didn't even know it was an option

Yes a 'real man' would pop someone in the mouth when it is required

Do you agree?
