we were listening to fangoria on sirius satellite radio a few minutes ago and they had a contest where they played a scream and you won a prize package if you could identify the movie it was from. i knew the minute i heard it, it was from house of 1000 corpses, but i thought it was so easy people would get it right off. a bit later she said no one could get it so they were gonna give a clue. i called in and got it right so i won a prize package that had a book, a movie, and some other horror stuff :clap_1: i just wish i could've talked to dee snider but he wasn't there.

The Mr. had on top 100 horror films before. They showed some funny ones, like American Psycho. Ever see that one Audie?

If you like horror flicks the AMC Channel is having Monsterfest on. Just got through watching Poltergeist III and now some horror movie is on called House. Sunday night Halloween is on, my alltime favorite horror flick!

i've seen parts of it, but never the whole thing. my disturbing passion is the old 60's horror drive-in movies. and the old drive-in soft porn.

Have a bunch of Horror and Sci Fi classics. The Mask, Black Sunday, Frogs, 13 Ghosts, The House of Seven Corpses, Terror in the Haunted House, The Mysterians, Earth Vs. the Flying Saucers, The Atomic Cafe, Killers from Space, Island of Terror, and I Saw What You Did And I Know Who You Are. I'm sure someone else has some classic horror movies they like that I haven't mentioned, after all, it is nearing Halloween. Oh yeah, and the Early Show Classic called Tarantula. Island of Terror was an Early Show classic also. Watched them when a kid.

Congratulations!!! I bet you are so proud of yourself! After your Wed. the 18th, you deserve a better day!

I'm not so sure I would've recognized a scream from a movie tho. Does the soundtrack have Slim Whitman's "I Remember You" on it it? I'm not a C&W music fan but that is such a great song, in spite of the disturbing slo-mo movie scenes during the song.

American Psycho is very good but too bloody imo.

yeah, that song is on there. the scream is part of a little bit of dialogue at the beginning of one song.

I bought the Gladiator soundtrack too! Great classical.

And if you liked Gladiator, you would LOVE the "Black Hawk Down" soundtrack. Classical mixed with mysterious, hard driving Algerian worldbeat and rock. My 15 yo and his music friends love it too.

interesting JR... I'll have to consider this, thanks! maybe I'll find the movie first - don't think I ever saw it - wait, I did see some of it. I just googled it, and Ewan McGregor is in it!!! I'll have to see it again.

I'm sorta the same way - - sometimes I can't sleep at night and I NEVER let my hand hang over the edge of the bed! :floor:

But I've read some books that are scarier than the movie, like Silence of the Lambs.

Psycho didn't bother me so much, but the Exorcist, HATED IT! I really didn't even have a clue what it was about when I went to see it with a boyfriend back in the day. Well, he worked nights, so for about a week after, I had to stay at my mom's cuz I wouldn't stay alone.
