I can guarantee you a lot of the shaming was done by Christians who just don't want to be associated with that nonsense.

The Muslim religion didn’t shoot those people at the club a deranged individual did. Equal protection under the law. I suggest you take Mr. Khan’s advice to Trump and read the Constitution.

Do you know anything about Robert Byrd? His is a story of change and redemption who deeply regretted his racist past. He apologized for his intolerant past and declared he had been wrong. He opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act but was the first to vote in favor of 1968 Civil Rights Act. He continued to make amends during the rest of his long distinguished career. He senate speech against the invasion and war in Iraq should be required reading in school and congress.

You are a ******* troll. Get off your fake news sites and join reality
Melissa and Aaron Klein lost their case because uunder Oregon law, businesses cannot discriminate or refuse service based on sexual orientation, just as they cannot turn customers away because of race, sex, disability, age or religion.

Oregon Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian explicitly stated that Oregon laws prohibit refusal of service to protected classes for discriminatory reasons:
This case is not about a wedding cake or a marriage. It is about a business's refusal to serve someone because of their sexual orientation. Under Oregon law, that is illegal.

Within Oregon's public accommodations law is the basic principle of human decency that every person, regardless of their sexual orientation, has the freedom to fully participate in society. The ability to enter public places, to shop, to dine, to move about unfettered by bigotry.

It then turned into harassment when the Klein's posted the details on their Facebook page. That's why the penalties they were ordered to pay were for damages not fines.

What you and other wingers never mention is these laws work both ways. The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries ruled against a Bend dentist In the Matter of Andrew W. Engle. In that case, BOLI awarded a Christian employee $325,000 in damages for physical, mental and emotion suffering due to religious discrimination and harassment.

As far as Robert Byrd is concerned yes, he was in the KKK, but repeatedly apologized for it spent the remainder of his career working for equal justice. Because of Byrd’s evolution on race and equality, the NAACP issued a statement praising him at the time of his death.
Senator Byrd came to consistently support the NAACP civil rights agenda, doing well on the NAACP Annual Civil Rights Report Card,” said Hilary O. Shelton, director of the NAACP Washington bureau and senior vice president for advocacy and policy. “He stood with us on many issues of crucial importance to our members from the reauthorization of the Voting Rights Act, the historic health care legislation of 2010 and his support for the Hate Crimes Prevention legislation.

Why are Trump supporters refusing to evolve, is it beacause they don't believe in evolution?

Lars, tell us in your own words what Pizzagate is all about, because we're not up on the fake news. I'm just curious and assume you know everything there is to know about it.

Well, if he said it was rigged, and he has a good brain, shouldn't we be calling for a recount in all 50 states, just because he said so?

I'm going to leave this thread to Lazy Lars, the low energy person who is too lazy to vett his own posts.

Barry Obama is half white and half black so it's going to way difficult for him to be racist. But I suppose you consider him black, don't you?

WTF are you saying? that a black person (or a half white- half black person) can not be a racist. Sounds like your view is that.

BTW...Is Obama the 1st black president? or the 1st 1/2 white & 1/2 black president? :dunno:

Actually it's YOU who brought up the black/white thing.
And it's obvious that YOU believe a black person (or 1/2 black person) can not be a racist. "Obama is half white and half black so it's going to way difficult for him to be racist"

No, you brought up the racist thing, by your asinine photo. But I will say again that it would be difficult for him to be racist, and from everything he has said and done for the last ten years, I doubt you will find much of anything to suggest that he is racist.

I disagree.
Pres. Obama had a grand opportunity to improve race relations. He did the opposite. He made it worse.
Sad too. It would have been a historic legacy.
