pretty cool, at least at first. then I noticed that the symbols are repeated among certain numbers, so my guess is that for each try there is one symbol that is assigned to all possible answers?

this is so neat - i've done it many times, and it always comes up right... i have even tried putting my cursor on the wrong number to fool it, but it comes up with the right symbol. weird :creepy:

Yep. The only possible answers are 9, 18, 27, 36, etc.
