Like in gobbling food today? MS requested we eat before the Cowboys game, so it looks like we are aiming for about 2:30 pm. It's only the four of us, so we made a family decision to eat in the kitchen and forego the dining room. sarafunn suggested paper plates, but I thought that was taking it a bit far. I raised my kids right!!!

Peapod, we have an engineer in our household and we don't let him near the kitchen. On his nights to cook, we are usually eating something red, round, and frozen.

well...he may not know much about making whipped cream but he is the nicest guy! Who else would man the Turkey Trot Water Hole w/little Kate (and her little lizzard friend she was choking and putting in her pocket!) and wait on all of us to get there?! :clap_1:

We ate at 12:00. I was taking a nap by 12:30. Slept for 2 hours. It was wonderful because I don't ever do that. It was a very laid back day. Just the 3 of us. That was very strange. Usually I have a house full, but everyone else had plans. I made entirely too much food, but it was all good. I tried the Cracker Barrel Double Chocolate Coca cola cake recipe that I posted. It was to die for. But the best of all was my Turkey that I brined and cooked on my grill. It was so yummy and juicy. The next best thing was my good ole southern cornbread dressing! I still have tons of leftovers. Will heat it up one more time tonight. I hope you all had a wonderful day!
