I knew we were soul sistas. I'd be perfectly happy with a stocking full of socks. but I didn't say so because was afraid I would get laughed at.
I would even love them as a present. So many choices, fluffy socks, angora, slipper socks, funny socks. You just can't have enough.

mom always puts scratch off lottery tickets in our stockings and it has turned into one of our favorite things - she gets us $5 each, and we all take turns scratching off our tix. needless to say we don't win, but it is still funn to do. i also like to get nice ink pens for work, lip balm, and gloves.

You mean all these years I should have been loading up the stockings with little bottles? :bang:

Yeah, it is easier than trying to cram one big bottle in a cute stocking!

Yeah, that would have the same effect as looking at a snake that's just swallowed its meal. A big unsightly bulge! (Though the contents would be a little more appealing, doncha think. )

I was kidding silly. But I am sure some would say they wouldn't mind getting little bottles who like to imbibe sometimes.

Audie, my mother gives us scratch off lottery tickets too. I won once, and she stole it.

My MIL made us all Santa Sacks that we used in place of stockings for years. Made out of two large christmas kitchen towels sewn together on 3 sides, and a drawstring at the top. This was the most fun, because much effort went into stockings. Everyone contributes really neat, funn, funny, practical, nasty, wonderful things to everyone else's santa sack the night before (while drinking - this is mandatory). We would collect items all year for these sacks.

I remember getting lots of kitchen gadgets in my santa sack, quite a few very unique items  , some very nice items, and always SOCKS my dear Mango... If you wear them on NY Day you have good luck for the year. If you don't, well, you know what happens.

Is your mother a loud little person who gambles penny slots and steals mini salt and pepper shakers from the casino hotels?

These are just the coolest little stuffing stuffers.
I got 2 of them for my nephew when he was sick with the Rotovirus and just loves them . He takes them everywhere and shows people. I got 2 more for Xmas at Toy's R Us for half the price this site is asking. They are also a funny gift for adults.

Cube World
it's an interactive place where pixelated stick people live, play and pester each other. Confused? You should be, because unless you're reading this from a black and white cartoon parallel dimension we guarantee you've never seen anything quite like Cube World.

Mr. Lucky and I are going to start a "tradition" of putting out stockings. We never really did it as kids at my house.

I want thinline Sharpies. And gum. And lip gloss. And Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
