Great, what a wonderful matchup. Been there, done that; Michigan can't get it done

Was hoping to bring USC down. Oh well.

Can you believe this Rutgers/WV game??? Jeesh. 3rd OT.

We just got home from the game. It was awesome! Of course, the second half was nerve-wracking. When Arkansas went ahead, we thought it was over.
I think seeing the UCLA win over USC motivated the Gators to win. We were on the club level watching the Gators on the field and the USC/UCLA game on TV. The Gator Nation was going wild when UCLA won. They flashed the score on the marquis in the GA Dome, and you could see the team getting pumped. It was all so much fun.
Loved the Tebow to Caldwell to Casey play. And you could tell Leak really wanted the win. He pulled some acrobatics on a touchdown instead of diving in and risking getting pushed back. The defense looked great, too. They shut down DMF.
Skunky, we were listening to ESPN on Sirius on the way home. They were belittling LSU fans for buying their Rose Bowl packages. How mean!
It's great ... to be ... a Florida Gator!
Yeah, we're almost there. But we'll see tomorrow whether or not the Gators be in the championship game. The politics of making that decision are really convoluted.

They may belittle us, but they are just bitter cuz their precious Trojans choked! By the way, they were actually ticket orders and will be honored for whatever bowl we go to
I hope at this point Sugar to play Notre Dame. Going to the Orange to play Wake Forest would be a bad game, in my opinion.bean

No matter the numbers, Michigan is the #2 team but I would love to play the Gators. Wouldn't that be funn?

While both teams were full of errors, the close and ever-changing score made it a fun game to watch.
BR, no mention of that two time out screw up followed by the incredible punt and fumble which resulted in a touchdown?
Now that was a couple of major screw ups and a miracle all rolled into one play.

Yup, they do seem bitter because their predictions about the USC game didn't pan out. Of course, we'll see how the bowl situation plays out tomorrow. Sorry GT lost.

Was that an upset? Where the heck did WF come from? Y'all hadn't been talking about them this year. I thought they just played golf at WF.

Mistakes will be made in college football games. It's not like OSU made no mistakes in the OSU-MI game. OSU was intercepted, had a few 3-and-outs, a fumble that caused a turnover.
This game was a big W for the Gators, despite any mistakes. Having a 12-1 record is awesome, especially with the brutal schedule that the Gators had. This AM after everyone slept on it, SportsCenter is leaning toward UF as #2. Guess we'll find out what the voters decide tonight at 8.

This was a disappointing loss for GT. Beach Jacket baked a cake for her bf's brother while watching the game - maybe to relieve the stress? He just got his learner's license -- it actually looks like him (he has a big mouth-LOL). She made the cake with fondant that she custom dyed and shaped.

It will be a crime if Florida does not get a shot to play Ohio State. C'mon, Michigan lost their finale (a-hem, to Ohio State) and has not played a team with a winning record since mid-October. And they got to sit on thier duffs and not risk participation in a conference championship game. Bottom line-Florida played a tougher schedule, finished stronger, and didn't lose in November-they get the nod to play Ohio State, NOT Michigan

Apparently, Tech's team thought the same dam* thing!
Thank God, Reggie Ball is a senior.

Seriously, hope the BCS shakes out for them. I don't care anything about seeing an Ohio State - Michigan rematch.

Rumor from theterritory.org - poster with contacts at Fox says UF is in.
Thought I'd pass it along.
I almost took back my earlier post, but WTH. Represent our state well.

Beach Runner, how long did that ballgame last? That cake would have taken me a week to make, second thought . . . I could NEVER have made that cake. Beach Jacket is very talented and very much an artist.

Well, Gators got their shot! I hope they do well against the buckeyes, but I gotta tell you, OSU is a good freaking team. I am not scared of Notre Dame at all. Rose bowl would have been nice, but any opportunity to lay wood to ND in front of a friendly crowd is welcome:clap_1:

By far Michigan was the toughest game we played but we still had a handle on it.
