The house will come furnished. He would probably take it off the market during the lease term. He may ask that he can put it back on the market 60 days before the lease is up.
There is no chance of the owner losing the home. He should respond shortly and let you know.
This house was my second home while I was traveling back and forth from Nashville. I now live here full time and just recently finished a home on the bay which I currently reside. I have no problem pulling the house off the market while being leased. The house would be rented unfurnished and a 1 year lease would be preferred. This home is in excellent condition.
