Looks like maybe the second week of August for us. Hate waiting that long, but hey, at least we've got something to look forward to. 😀

We should be there the last week....unless there is a hurrricane 😱 , like last year.. we will stay through Labor Day. Just wish it is sooner!

OMG DD we may actually be there at the same time...finally! I don't start back to work until the 17th, so I was contemplating one last SoWal visit before then! I hope we can coordinate dates! :clap_1:

:cool: iwishiwasthere, we are going the last week of august. Weather cooperating that is! Leaving and coming back September 2nd though. One time, we were told we could come in on Thursday and stay through the following saturday, couldn't do it because my husband has to schedule his vacation a week in advance and get approval. He just cannot take it off last minute! What a bummer! Would have been nice having 9 days at the beach. Where in Tennessee are you?

We're not certain, we have to make sure about the house, and then we've got all these dang kids that have to schedule off work, etc. Frankly, it's a nightmare planning....but once we get there, it's all good! I HOPE, HOPE, HOPE we can be there at the same time!!! Tenative plan is to leave August 5 and come home on the 13th--:idontno:

I hope so also. Always hate to have to cancel a trip to the beach. It is always such a long remainder of the summer and fall and winter when you know you are not going to get to go to the beach, and have to wait another year and hope you can go the next year.

We'll be there the week of August 20th so it would be great to see whoever is around. We enjoy the quiet of August -- the ocean is perfect and the pool water is soooo comfortable (and we sometimes get the whole pool to ourselves when we're there in August which makes us feel pretty special...).

That is why we choose the end of August or early September to go. We like less crowd. But down at the end where we stay there are very few people around during that time and it is pitch black pretty much as to lack of lights as there is no one in the 4 townhouse unit we rent except us at that time of the year. And not many people anywhere else along that end but maybe one place occupied other than the unit we are in. Quite creepy! Not alot of traffic during that time of year though. We like that.
