No joke, last year, I saw a group of beach goers swatting their own legs with fly swatters. :funn: I felt so sorry for them, that I sprayed them down with some of my special juice, and the next day, they were out again, with no fly swatters.

Typically, they come down starting in October, when the winds come out of the north, and they make life on the beach in October, very miserable, and that is why people give cheaper rates to tourists during the month of October.

A couple of weeks ago at the Watersound Beach Club we were having lunch outside and some fly's were biting the heck out of our ankles, my sister-in-law pulled out her Avon kids SkinSoSoft bug spray, we sprayed our ankles.....wala...not more bug bites. :clap: worked for us.

Just when we will be there! It stinks, but not enough to keep me away from the beach. Plus, it seems they're out more in the afternoons, yes? That's been my experience, anyway.

SJ, what would it take to order some of that juice in advance? 😀

those little black biting flies are the worst! if they are out in large numbers (usually the case), you just have to haul yourself off the beach for the day. but, usually they are gone the next day...:wave:

I don't have a license to bottle and distribute it, but let me know when you are coming, and I'll whip some up for you. It beats the hell out of slapping yourself HARD.

Now now Johnrudy...I can see skunky's point. I am afraid she is preparing for doom and gloom! LadyD, please stop worrying about everything that could go "wrong" on your vacation! Worry about what you are going to pack, instead! ;-)
