My old Canon is in need of a tune-up. Is there a camera repair shop in the area? i have done an internet search and havent had any luck. Thanx for any help.

These guys are in Atlanta, and are your best bet for an affordable, quality repair. I've bought new and used gear from them, and had them repair several cameras and flash units.

You will have to ship it. You might check the canon website for the nearest authorized service center.

Exactly. Even when we've taken a camera to a nice camera store in Atlanta, they have to ship it off to the manufacturer for repairs. Same for my husband's watch which he hates to part with because he won't see it again for 6 months when they send it off.
