Ha! I would like to think that he misses his mommy, but judging from the pictures that have been posted, it doesn't look like it!:clap_1: And that is how it should be.

We are going to see him the weekend of July 22, but he doesn't come home until August 9. I never get used to him beeing away- this is his 5th year, and it stills stinks. The dogs even run downstairs to wake him up every morning- they don't understand!

Moms need a hug. After I get back from Memphis we'll share one. Hang in there. Take pleasure in knowing what a good job your'e doing with him. He seems like a great kid.

My husband and I were talking about this as we watch another LOSER. We have not been to a game since the beginning of June. HELLO, that's when they started loosing. Which sparked an idea....
Why can't us Midwesterners do a SoWal party at the ballpark? Come on dbuck, KY is not that far. Peapod, Lucky, Seagrovelover, Audie, Mermaid...I know there's more of you out there. We can do a party deck, so there is no need to worry about making sure our tickets are together. Plus it would be funn. You guys pick a date, I'll do the leg work...my nickname is not Julie the Cruise Director for nothing!!! What do you guys think?

Sounds Grayt!!! We usually try to get to a game at least once each year and we haven't made it yet. And you're right, St. Louis is only about 3 1/2 hrs. from here. Give us some dates to pick from. Count us in. Party Deck???sounds funn.

Cubs game would be out....they are all sold out. How about the end of August? The play Fla :clap_1:

And I'm sure that's because the Cubs and Cards are both playing so spectacularly this year! End of August is probably do-able (can you make sure it's good and hot and humid for us?) Would love to meet some more Sowallers and it's looks like you are onto something with St. Louis being centrally located for several midwesterners.

Sorry guys...I got slammed at work on Friday, can you believe they really want me to work!

OK, talk to the cards ticket office. No party decks available for the rest of the season. They have one party room left for the end of August, but you have to buy all 40 seats and they are $90 each!

The only way I see this working is picking a date, buying individual tickets (probably not all sitting together) and then picking a meeting place inside the stadium. They really is a couple of good places we could do this and still see the game (if we wanted).

So I guess it really comes down to the people who will be traveling, what days they can make it. I know there is more available for weekday games than weekends. I can go anytime, so you guys let me know and I can check out single ticket sales and get back to you.

It's still doable and will be alot of funn -- especially since it looks like they might be back!!!
