POSITION: CHEF DE CUISINE FOR QUEST HOSPITATLITY
THE CITIZEN | Alys Beach, South Walton, FL
Inspired by coastal cuisine around the world, The CITIZEN is a seaside tavern located within the town center of Alys Beach, which is situated along Florida’s scenic Highway 30A. Here, local and seasonal ingredients drive the inspiration for both the food and beverage program. Guests will have a choice between an 18-seat bar, 12-seat raw bar, or 120-seat dining room. The fresh and vibrant flavors of The CITIZEN will be showcased in a variety of menu items, many of which will be cooked over a wood fired hearth, offering a nod to coastal, Southern fair.
The Chef de Cuisine of The CITIZEN reports directly to the Executive Chef and helps oversee all culinary operations, leading the team in a positive and approachable manner. He/she monitors the back of house in its entirety alongside a fellow Executive Chef, which includes managing the day-to-day operations and performance of the restaurants. Tasks include but are not limited to: developing recipes and menus for all culinary activities, supervising food production, managing inventory, negotiating with vendors, promoting safety and proper sanitation, and overseeing the hiring, training, and development of all kitchen staff. He/she assists with monitoring the service and performance of the team and culinary service providing an exceptional experience for guests.

Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years of management experience (high-end dining preferred)
