Coastal Seniors strives to be the community focal point for active seniors 50 years or older in South Walton County. Although open to all Walton County residents, the Board’s emphasis is to provide programs and services to fill the current gap in Senior Services available in South Walton County. Due to the high number of seasonal and transient Seniors who visit South Walton, the Board agreed that Coastal Seniors Vision and Mission should connect with anyone who resides in Walton County regardless of home ownership.
The CSSW Vision and Mission is derived from both personal history and an analysis of the outcomes expected by our Seniors:
The Vision of the Coastal Seniors of South Walton is to provide an experience for active seniors to connect with our vibrant community in a positive and meaningful way.
The Mission of Coastal Seniors of South Walton is to provide programs and services to encourage active seniors to use their skills, develop their potential, and find continued involvement in their community.
The position of Program Manager duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure the growth and efficient operation of the organization. The Program Manager will work under the direction of the Board of Directors and requires the ability to effectively communicate ensuring that all Program Manager ta are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answer and direct phone calls
Organize and schedule events
Maintain membership and dues
Attend Board Meetings
Provide support to Seniors requesting information about the Organization and how to join
Provide information by answering questions and requests
Generate reports as required for Financial or Grant reporting
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
Reply to email, telephone or face to face enquiries
Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient
This is a part time position at an hourly rate to be determined.
