In todays paper:

"The Pope's words have caused a deep wound the hearts of Muslims that won't heal for a long time." - Egypt's Religious affairs minister.

Underneath: Picture of Iraqis burning effigies of the Pope.

I'm thinking of starting a website EFGS on the beach. com. Its for people who get their feelings hurt and won't heal for a long time.

I'm going to offer full size cutouts of "feeling hurters" to burn on the beach. Currently I have:

T.O. Terrell Owens - Dallas Cowboys
Tony Stewart - NASCAR
The county Commissioners
The President
Osama "sin bad" lamma

News Release - EFGS

There has been a couple of snags with EFGS:

1. First of all, YOU SHOULD NEVER TRY THIS AT HOME!!! The people you see on TV and in print are seasoned professionals who have spent their life developing both the anger and the skills for this. Unfortunately, all the people who are qualified are not eligible for VISAs to the US or airline tickets for that matter.

2. Walton County requires a "Burn in Effigie Permit". To get this requires a "Notice of intent to burn in effigie", a public hearing and a mile of red tape.

3. Certain public arenas carry the same emotion as the crisis between the Pope and Islam. We don't need the drama. Case in point... NASCAR... all those Gordon vs. Ernhart fans and one Tony Stewart fan. Why can't we all just love one another?

4. I don't want any of the consequences of the above on my conscience, so I am withdrawing the idea.... just as soon as I get the "Notice of withdrawing idea" appoved in Walton County.
