I am on my way out the door to Bonifay to get a cat that I saved from the gas chamber!!!:clap_1: I am however needing help with names....I think that the cat (was female as of yesterday ) is a blue point burmese or a blue point burman. Does anyone here know the difference?????

I will take and send photos later....watch out Sunshine theres a new kid in town!!! ((JK you will never be replaced)))


Oh I do know that there is a black/brown chiwuawa (i cant spell) that is at the pound if anyone wants it. If you want info I will give it to you....I think its last day is Mon or Tues....

Congrats- I got a rescue cat once - bkack and white- named him Oreo.
The 2 I have landed on my door. Mr. Roobie (looks like Garfield and chock full of chatty personality- then came Pippi ( big fan tail) My husband calls her "cockroach" cause she has all the same colors. She's also a little witch.

The names sort of developed after we got to know the personality of the cat.

Burmese are pretty cats, and maybe a pretty name would appropriate?

Something exotic like Chianna, or Meeshka? or something less exotic like Blue Belle?

Oh I'm so excited. I loooooove cats! My favorite names for a felmale cat are:
Bridget or Zelda (Fitzgerald).

Oh, that IS a good name...Mya. (whether its pronounced Mia or Maya). IBD, I had a burmese. They are some of the most vocal cats you've ever seen, which is a lot of fun. They "talk back." Thanks for saving a sweet kitty.

IBD, I love you so much for saving that little life . Kudos, kudos, kudos! I have to see your baby. My new grandbaby will be named Jade and I just love that name too.
Sunshine's brother is a Balinese cat who walks on a leash very slowly. He hasn't been out since Sunshine came to town because she runs and he drags along though.

A burmese, I believe is very similiar to a balinese but I believe a little bigger and most of the ones I've seen have been someone darker.

Like ALL "ese" cats, they are VERY vocal. I know this sounds wacco but I taught my Gizmo to say "Ha-row" and he stands at his bowl or on a different level of the house yelling Ha-rooooooow until I answer him! It's really a pain sometimes but funny as heck. I swear, I'm not drinking. He hasn't mastered "I ruv you" yet. :funn: It can be done! Look.

How beautiful IBD! She is probably sooooooo scared! Just leave her alone for a little while to kitty reflect and when she feel safe, she'll welcome lots of rubs and pets. She must be petrified.

She looks young. If she starts the scratching thing, my friend just got these little nail tips that work great.

She looks young. If she starts the scratching thing, my friend just got these little nail tips that work great.

1. Trick cat into thinking he's gonna get petted.
2. While petting cat with one hand, spill little nail covers out with other hand.
3. Open glue with mouth (yours) and squirt a drop of glue into little nail cover.
4. Try to convince cat this is nothing out of the ordinary.
5. Extend cat's claw by gently pushing on paw.
6. Extract cat's claw from your hand.
7. Attempt to squirt another drop of glue into little nail cover, because first squirt has dried.
8. Chase cat around house before second squirt of glue dries.

Well, you get the picture. Warning IBD--never, never try this alone!!

Hope someone goes and rescues that sweet little chihuahua that only has until Monday or Tuesday. They don't take up much room guys! Those are such horrid places where that is concerned. BTW, very pretty cat InletBchDweller.
