My sister and I are coming down Sept. 30 and staying for a week. We are looking for a two bedroom place that is right on the beach and that is fairly affordable. We have stayed in Seagrove before and loved it but would consider any other area in the panhandle as long as the water is clear and the sand is white. Will be thinking of you all in the coming week with the approaching hurricane. Good Luck!!!

What is fairly affordable in your mind? Fairly affordable beach front is an oxymoron, in my opinion. Is beach front more important, or is price? You cannot necessarily have it both ways.

;-) Don't agree with that SJ. We rent a nice two bedroom two and a half bath beach front townhome for around $850 for a week. The fall rate we have gotten is a little cheaper. So you can have it both ways! These people do not even have to advertise.
