Jfunn has been calling me, but when I call her back it gives me a busy signal? I did leave my cell phone at home all day yesterday and didn't get back till late and was wiped out. So I have no reports to give.

I am sure Darlene is having a relaxed time. She called to remind me that I have five Guinnesses waiting for me at the Seagrove Villas, but I have not had an opportunity to stop by there yet.

I'll never get over that Whitey. We put way too much thought and effort into that. :(

What I learned? I cannot pull one over on the peeps who know everything. :oops: Okay, here is the story for everyone else.

A while back, I am driving down CR283, heading to Grayton Beach. I had seen photos KimmiFunn posted of the Funns from New Year's Eve Bashes. I approach the stop sign at 30A, heading south and I look toward the car approaching the stop sign to my left. I knew instantly it was a car filled with Funn(s). I proceeded through the stop sign, thinking about how I can surprise them. I am looking in my mirror and they are on my tail, and Kimmifunn is waving her finger like the fans at a basketball game who are trying to tell the refs that the points count. I could read her lips -- "That's him! He is so busted! I know that is Smiley J! Busted! We got you now and you don't have a clue of what you are in for!" :oops: So I play dumb, get to the beach, then, out of the left corner of my eye, I see them on the beach to my left. Still playing dumb, (I think, maybe they didn't see me and I will mess with them later while avoid getting busted now) I go for my run down to Gulf Trace, the whole time wondering if they really know that I am who they think I am. Upon my return, I notice the Funns have left the beach. (Damn, I think to myself. I missed them.) When I returned to my car, what is sitting on the hood? A six pack of cold Guinness, a bottle popper with the Funn's signature on it, cups with messages wrote on them from the Funns, and a SoWal sticker or two. :oops: I have been busted big time.

I had been sick for a month or so by this time and my run put me over the edge of sickness. I decided that if I played clueless about being busted, the Funns would question whether they busted me or someone else. I played dumb, dumb, dumb. The Funns knew they found me, and began to think someone stole the beer and their busting gifts. Not so. I was busted! :oops:

So, a big thank you for all the Funn the Funn's provided! You guys are too good. WARNING for the rest of you: Never try to outfunn the Funns. ;-)

Jfunn said kathy has been partying her little butt off. yaaaaa-hooooooooooo!!!:lolabove: its gonna be a good vacay.

I just got off the phone talking with Darlene. She says to tell everyone that she loves them and that she is having a great time. The water if beautiful.

WOO HOO!! I'm ratting myself out here- we are in SoWal- got in last night- and our first stop was the Seagrove Villas to see DARLENE! She is the best- the thrill of meeting her is almost helping with the feeling that a wine bottle is crammed into the side of my head.:blink: Y'all - I am not lying when I say that this gal is just too neat! It was a beautiful starry night at her pool- met her nice friends and very handsome son. "Local celebs" were also in attendance.😀

I took some pics and will post after she gives the approval.

There is computer access at our remote location- so I get to SoWal while in SoWal this trip. Heading to the beach later- I want to see a manatee!!
