After a three hour sleep I am now awake and on some pain medications from the wisdom teeth surgery. I feel ok, actually my head and nose hurts really bad, not really my jaw yet.

Ciao.

I find it admirable when a man admits he can say " uncle." ;)
I understand, I just like to point out that we are so abused but like it.:floor: :floor:

What is this? Tales of the Frontier SoWal Gals?

"Why I had my apendix removed with a steak knife and no more than a swig of whisky to dull the pain...."

Believe me, I'm a big wuss and don't do pain so y'all are going to win this contest. I'm calling uncle......or is it Uncle Timmy?

:floor: ...your story was wussy Uncle T, I am sure you are a big strong man!!! Thanks for playing! :clap_1:

OK, so is it back to man bashing again. What did we do to deserve it this time?:idontno: :idontno:

Reminds me of the soon-to-be exes vasectomy - he fainted afterwards. Never you mind that I gave birth to two babies who were both over 9 pounds without drugs or epidurals and was up walking around a half hour later.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out when I was 20 -and had a blast!

Let me explain.

They gave me the gas, (Nitrous Oxide) before surgery and I decided that I would inhale as deeply as I could just so see what happens........I was flying by the time surgery rolled around. They had to stop the surgery a number of times due to my uncontrollable laughing fits.

Well, they also shoot you up with Novocane to numb your jaw, but at one point it started to wear off and I could feel every bit of the surgery -and it hurt. But here's the crazy part - I was so high on laughing gas that I remember thinking "Wow, this really hurts and I should ask for more Novocane but it's really just to much trouble. So I'll just sit here. Ow."

I hope your experience was as fun as mine, lol.

I had an IV of general anesthesia and was out cold. The laughing gas sounds like quite the experience though. I woke up this morning around 4am with chills and pain like I can't describe in my nose and in my jaw. Could not go back to sleep. It feels like I have a broken nose--apparently the nerves extend into the sinuses. I only had two impacted teeth the top two had erupted about a year ago. I should have had this done my freshman year of college  .

 I can barely sit up and look at my notebook screen. Good thing is I am at my mom and dad's house. Oh and on a funny note, you should have seen the look on the receptionists face yesterday when she asked me if I have someone with me to drive me home after the procedure and I said "Oh no I think I will be okay." My mom stepped in just in time to say, "I am his mother and believe me if we are in the same car together I am the one driving."
