I wonder how many of the others caught in this sting were also repeat offenders. This pervert seems to have committed multiple offenses with little social stigma or consequences.

I don't think that increasing distances or "registering" does much good. I think we need much more proactive and effective ways of dealing with these sickkos! :angry:

well, we all know that sex offenders / pedophiles live right here among us. and we can keep an eye on who they are and where they live (the convicted ones anyway). these are very sick people.

YES, YES, YES.......one more thing to put on the to do list before buying in the area. Check the neighborhood. The sad part is that so many of the offenders (at least in our area)---have unverified addresses. But, this guys flyer clearly states his address.

This man used to live off Bay Dr. Glad to see he was keeping his address current with the authorities. But am saddened to say that I standing behind him a a convenience store several months ago and heard him bragging about his new baby with his very young wife.

Yes he was keeping his address current, which also keeps law enforcement off his back. If they don't register they are arrested and go to jail once caught.

Sex offenders live in all types of neighborhoods. And buying in a neighborhood that is "sex offender free" does not guarantee that one won't move in at a later date.

Sex offenders live in all types of neighborhoods. And buying in a neighborhood that is "sex offender free" does not guarantee that one won't move in at a later date.

Buy right next to school and it will be. Also Florida is trying to define the distance as being from a school bus stop. This would make it very difficult to find housing. Not that I care if someone who stole a child's innocence has to move to no man's land.

I am not sure how that would work if they are married. From what I heard the wife of this guy is a teenager that had her parents permission. But I am glad that he wont be around THAT child anymore. But I have always checked the register since I have kids and have shown them the pictures so they would know who to watch out for. We actually had 3 in the Bay Dr. area at once. This guy, another that was on the register for under 12 and listed as a predator,(boy, you should have seen the fireworks when I found out they wanted my 10 year old daughter to catch the bus 2 houses down from HIM) and one that was under 16 but he was 19 and they had been going out for a while til the parents decided they didnt need to be together and she got mad at him about something, so now he will have that tag for the rest of his life.
