Is Sowal Ready for Full time Yankees?

New posts
This seems like a very sound business proposition that I think you and MANgo should follow through on, stat!!! Waste no time!

Great!!

Having been born and raised in the NY/NJ metro area you'll have to make a few changes, know a few new things...such as:

1. There is no such thing as doing anything "in a Sowal" minute. (more like in a Sowal day!).

2. The water next to 30A is the "gulf," not the "shore."

3. If some asked you to "crack" the window, they want you to open it slightly, not break it.

You'all c'mon

You'all c'mon

And there is a difference!

In order to move to the South: You must also add "fixin" and "fer" to your vocabulary. I was out of college before I learned that fixin wasn't the propper way to say "about to" as in I'm fixin to go to the store, or I'm fixin to cook dinner. The first time someone made fun of me -- I couldn't understand why he was laughing. :idontno: And it was several years latter that I learned that I was mispronouncing "for". And now that I've noticed it, everyone around me is mispronouncing it too!

Well, us Yankees have invaded the Wewa end and have been well received. However, four weeks in and I'm sticking to my "you guys" rather than "ya'll."
