You are about 10 degrees too cold. Wear less clothes around the house and put that therm no lower than 81 at night, use summer bedspread and sleep naked. In the day time when you are away, bump it up to 83 to keep the dogs cool. You are not running a meat locker.


uh............. I'll just pay the bill. I can't sleep when the stat hits 74+ :blush:

I would be dancing if that was my bill. :wave: Then the pool guy comes today and says we need a new pool sweep...$730.00!!!! :yikes: I told Mr. K to get the broom out!
shoot I have a pool sweep I could give you that some spa guy gave me as a promo gift....dont' have a pool but couldn't pass up the idea of $730 dollar give away......need it? but only if you have round edges on your pool!

Mine has been over $250 for the last couple of months. What kills me is that my moms house, no one in it, water heater turned off, no ceiling fans on, fridge on lowest setting, no lights on, air on 80 and the bill is still $140??? crazy I must say...

Unplugged EVERYTHING? Lamps, toaster, microwave, clocks, etc...

Even if the item is off but still plugged in the wall it will use 30% of it's normal power output. For real.
