little audie finally here !

i just talked to my sis - she is fine, a little itchy from the spinal block but doing good otherwise. little (or not so little) danielle leigh came into the world and the first thing she did was pooh everywhere (that's my girl !) and then she screamed bloody murder, then went to sleep. she nursed very well according to my sis, and all is well in the world. the nephew hasn't seen her yet, that should be interesting. my parents are going to get the nephew tomorrow and keeping him til monday when my sis comes home. i am going over next friday so will have some pics then. thank god she wasn't the 10 lb monster they were afraid she would be - now she can wear all the cute newborn stuff i got her ! 😀

My little bundle of joy was a whopping 9.5 lbs. It felt like I was giving birth to a portable TV! Seriously! (Natural childbirth)

i with ya sistah - she asked if i wanted to come over and be in the room with her while she had her csection. i said, ummmm NO ! her hubby ended up going in with her and didn't even pass out - this time....

thanks to everyone for the good wishes. i like the name too, but i think that audra diane the second would have been much better !!! then she could've been audieburger !!

Beautiful name. I am jealous. I wish I had a niece. But I became a proud aunt just 8 weeks ago to Alexander John . Fortunately my sister was quick this time. He came before I got to the hospital with my other nephew.

A C-section sounds like the way to go; those 10-lb babies are no fun. I know because my first one was 10 lb 2.5 oz. (not a csection 😱 ) JR I think you have me beat though because I was heavily medicated (epidurals :clap_1: :clap_1: ) and it was still ridiculous.

Amazing..my first was just a little less than half that size! 5lbs 11 oz 18 in. full term and even a little chubby. Now she's 12 1/2 and 5'6"! TFT..you rock gull and JR too. I had an epi and still thought it was rough.

my sis called me at work about 11 and said she had a lot less pain that she did the first time around, was just a little sore at the incision, but nothing she couldn't live with. i will post pics after i see her on friday. i think my nephew will be pretty jealous at first, he told sarah last night he didn't like her because she was too little. i think he was expecting a playmate his own size...:blink:
