I don’t know who should be most embarrassed, Alabama citizens (they had Doug Jones there for a minute or 2) or the putz. And now I read that he’s actually our village idiot, as if we don’t need another one.

I'm not downloading an app to read an article, but if it's talking about his former Sandestin residence he sold that to buy a residence in Washington DC. I have first hand knowledge of this.

We returned from Louisville last week after another visit to 30A. Our 660 mile trip, each way, took us mostly on I65, but part of it is 2 hours from Georgiana to 30A. I don't know if we saw more than 2 '45' signs. On our return, we had 2 detours, one in rural Alabama, the other TN. Still not seeing '45' support anymore. Went to a big picnic yesterday. Started before the Civil War. Always a huge crowd. Saw one '45' hat. We live near a Costco. We might see one '45' hat a month or more. I'm encouraged. Their rantings & ravings get all the attention. We'll see. We have an interesting gubernatorial race. Our wonderful governor guided us through covid. His challenger is a McMitch crony. All about drag queens & anti abortion & that's about it. Fingers crossed. Ellen (We return to 30A next month.)

I think it's just going back incognito and not said out loud. Although I also believe he's lost a lot of core support, that same group looks at Desantis and doesn't see a better alternative.
