haven't shopped for one fall/winter thing yet. it's really hard to know in sowal what the heck is "it" as for as fashion. going to Bham today and will see "it" over the next few days.

not sure if I can do the skinny jeans, so will look for just straight leg.

LEGGINGS are in - but gotta be careful about wearing them - need a long top or short skirt... remember when leggings became a little too popular among the chunky women?

Long tops are still the rage. and long sweaters/coats.

I am OVER the big ass purse. carried one all summer and could never find a thing in it. plus, it collected garbage. back to the little little bag and I carry one small wallet, keys, lipstick, sunglasses, a pen and a sometimes my cell phone. and its all easy to access.

I'm getting all new jeans for the fall. I've already got a long jean skirt (cute). I want a new pair of boots. a few tops. and I'll be ready to rock and roll. (what am I talking about - all I do in the winter is hibernate and eat).

Guess I will once again be a fashion dud. It just takes way to much effort to figure it all out.

So here's the fall shopping list- it never changes from one year to the next! (well, I added sandals and shorts since I am moving south). If I can't find it at the Gap, Old Navy, Dick's, Banana, or TJ Maxx, it won't get found.

my fashion wardobe consists of khaki pants and white tops - i wear the same colors to work every night - saves time on deciding what to wear !

IBD, where do you go shopping for your clothes? I've never thought about it before, but are there any department stores like Macy's around? I only know about Silver Sands, but Tootsie made the comment that she's really over that, so I guess it's not all that it's cracked up to be?

Kimmi's right. I went to Lenox Square today and saw a lot of the above. They still have the flare dress pants and lots of dress shorts/gauchos, etc. Basically you can find whatever want. Not a whole lot of color this fall. Definitely saw the round toe heels/pumps. Lots of skinny pants.....can't see it.....maybe only for the really young or really skinny! Then again, I remember in the 70's when pants first went from hip huggers to around the waist. I thought "never". More than ever...anything goes! Just look around the mall and you'll see! :shock:
