Opinions Needed! ;)

Saw colors like that (bougenvilla, mango, lime) quite often in the Cayman Islands when I stayed there 3 months for a consulting project. I like it!
It may seem "over the top" when the room is empty, but try some towels, accessories, etc. in the room which can help tone it down a bit.

I love those colors. Caribbean was what I was shooting for, I am just not used to it. At home I live in a woodsy area with mountain views, so my colors are muted and I let the landscape do the talking.
BTW- I plan a trip to Fired up next time.

I loooooove this. The half bath in our Blue Mtn condo is similiar. I have two large pictures that are mostly golds & browns and black. I put a black, gold and cream oriental rug on floor and used gold and black soap dishes and leopard towels. Just give yourself a few days and go to
Target and Steinmart for accessories.

Well. I managed to faux paint only 2 walls yesterday with a yellowy-beige color (I forgot how hard it is on the shoulders to wash the walls :shock: ) before passing out. It looks a little like wallpaper. I have to do one more wall, and may possibly add another color. I didn't get a chance to hang any art work (which I need to buy), but there's always next time I guess. Since there's no window, the room looks a little lighter, and I really love the color now. I am leaving one wall as an accent.

Afunn, you'll have to come here with me and help. All the wine you can drink!

I painted a bathroom this week.
I think it looks like the inside of the bottle from "I Dream of Jeannie"

Now, if I change it, am I discriminating against Jeannies who have the ability to blink and change the color at will ? and if I keep it, will I be contributing to global warming and have scientists descending upon SoWal to study its effect in in grayt depth? Could it potentially raise prices of real estate in SoWal if I start this rage? Will my insurance rates rise because I blinded people?

I love the color too, but the dress needs some work. Rip that broom off the bottom, go babylonian, get a matching scarf for your head, and replace the gun with a genie bottle. Much more vogue, then find your Major Nelson.

I really like bright colors! My son's room is orange (Alburn Fan ), Little Beach has a hot pink room (I did use the beadboard half way up- it does calm it a bit) and oldest beach has a lime green room with a pale blue ceiling- and a hot pink bathroom counter top!! We are at the beach !
