Anyone have any favorites? I would like to see Martin Scorsese get an Oscar, and I really like Abigail Breslin. She proved that sweet and sincere goes a long way.

I know - gweneth's dress kinda grows on ya. the color was referred to as "soft orange". I think the color is what I had a problem with - not exactly right for her complexion. but I did love her in this a year or two ago...

Many of you were asking in the live chat where Brad and Angie were last night. Turns out Angelina had more important good deeds to do. Angie skipped the show to hang out in Africa on behalf of the United Nations to monitor the crisis in Darfur. Brad evidently stayed home with the kids. He didn't miss much, though. After all the hype, Babel ended up up with only one Oscar for the night and that was for best score!But he was the producer of the best picture! Just finished watching Departed. I'm in shock still. I don't say WT* but I will say What the! Shell shocked!

Did you ever watch Ally McBeal? She starred in that series for a while. This is from 2005. I'll have to find a pic of her at the Oscars later. I think she was wearing a dark blue gown or was it eggplant..I can't remember.

Did you get Matt and Leonardo confused with each other? I think I have to watch again just to get all the relationships straight! Plus, the dvd had a few skips in very crucial parts. I will have to get a better copy and see what I missed.
I was thinking that Leonardo would be a good VP for Al Gore - he would getthe younger vote for him!

Penelope Cruz- best dress for sure. And Helen Mirren. I liked Cameron Diaz' dress- but unfortunately she was in it. Little Abigail looked darling- very age appropriate.
I thought Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts looked like they just signed up to guest star on The Wiggles (the red and yellow thing - Australians stick together ya know). Yes, the red was pretty, but the bow was cartoonish and looked like she could either hide things or barf into the one plopped like a bowl on her shoulder. Her hair was so severe- she looked like Jessica Rabbit (that flat ironed severe straight look got really old last night). Naomi in a yellow dress- what an awful look. Add a hat and she has a getup like Queen Elizabeth wears to tea.
Gwyneth got my thumbs down too- I didn't like the color or style- she is such a pretty girl, but not last night. She had "Nicole" hair too- I think they called each other and planned it.
Clooney never looks bad. I'm worried that Al Gore is going to explode- how much does he weigh now??? Scorcese looked like he got a special dye and blowout for his eyebrows. Clive Owen- sigh.
Ellen did a fine job- I like her style.

oh, that portia! yes, she was absolutely gorgeous, crimped hair and ponytail, and gorgeous gown. she was really chic.
