Ovide launched a Pre-Sunset Menu!

Available daily from 5 - 6:30 p.m., the menu reflects Hotel Effie’s storied tradition and pride as Autograph Collection’s 332nd unique property, offering a selection of (3) appetizers, (3) entrees and (2) desserts for $52 per person.

To start, guests can choose Steak Tartare, with quail egg, beef buttered toasts and crispy parmesan; Roasted Kombucha Squash Soup, with chermoula and creme fraiche; and Kale & Baby Romaine Caesar, with whole grain croutons, preserved lemon, capers, anchovy and caesar vinaigrette.

Entrees include Seared Snapper, with celery root fondu, braised collard greens and field pea vinaigrette; Certified Angus Filet Tournedos, with potato boulangére and braised onion brandy jus; or King’s Table Farm Roasted Chicken, served with Two Brooks Mississippi Rice Medley, garlic confit and a rich “rouennaise” sauce.

End the meal on a sweet note with Créme Brule, featuring winter fruits in spiced syrup; or Effie Chocolate Cake, Hotel Effie’s signature chocolate cake with layers of Manjari chocolate and mixed berry syrup chantilly cream.
