Pet Peeves, Vol. 2

I've got two:

One is people in line buying lottery tickets and scratch offs in a long line at the tom thumb.

The other is people who get ticked at a 4 way stop because they think that someone else went out of turn. My philosiphy (sp) about the 4 way is somebody just go! Geez... I'm like o.k. lets go back and we'll do it over and you can go first. The struggle for personal power shows in some strange places.

I've never been mad because someone went first ahead of me. But, I have been mad because someone showed their ass at me or someone else over this. IT SEEMS anyway most of the time they are on vacation. I'm like chill out Dorthy, your not in Atlanta anymore, your'e on vacation.

I don't get it... they'll wait two hours or more to eat mash potatoes at the red bar, but let them wait one to three seconds at a 4 way stop and their livid.

audie you are so right. This happens to me a lot too. To make it even worse, when they pull out, they usually come to a near stop they are going so slowly. Sometimes I think these are those folks who are out for insurance money and are simply trying to get one to hit them from behind.

the old folks are notorious for this around here, i think they can't see well enough to judge distances. the young punks are the ones that i get so mad at and you are right, they probably want insurance money.

People who crawl in the left lane on the interstate. I don't care if you are going the speedlimit-if somebody is behind you and wants to pass, GET THE HELL OVER INTO THE RIGHT LANE! Left lane for passing, right for cruising. Learn it, live it, love it

It's probably my MIL! :funn: I her, but will do almost anything to never be in the car if she's driving. It's always funn when the horn blaring and the one finger salutes start.

She doesn't cotton to suggestions that she should move to one of the slower lanes either.

I'm in the tolerant of old people, intolerant of punks camp myself. I'm also intolerant of Dump Trucks, but they're bigger than me .

It's especially funn on Friday afternoon in Atlanta on 285. I guess that's Ga.'s idea of the autoban. She actually thinks she's making people slow down. Well, she is. I hope it's never slow enough to get a good aim at her as they are whipping over to pass her on the right and hanging out the window to glare at her. :shock:

People that pass me on a two lane road when I am going over the speed limit with a stop sign straight ahead.

Here's my deal on that subject. THEY ARE INFORCING THE SPEED LIMIT NOW. And they are out in force. Hey I'm the first one to fudge, but I've been hit with the blue lights twice on 30A and speedy, my wife, got a ticket on chat holly.

So they'll just have to back off and get over it.
