Prayers for our sweet BB's brother

This just texted in (with her blessing to share with all of you):

"They have him in stable condition & he will have to endure five hours [of surgery] or more tomorrow. He broke his humerus in the left arm, & his tibia & fibia in his left leg. It's a green stick fracture that splintered all the way to the knee cap. Keep praying. We have the same blood type so I have to donate blood."

What?? Oh my gosh, prayers are with you and your brother, oh this is horrible.

This is a good reminder to donate blood on a regular basis. Contact your local blood bank.

If he suddenly has a passion for pink and jewels, we'll know why! Hope his surgery goes well. UAB is an excellent hospital, so he is in good hands. Many people here choose UAB over Emory and other hospitals in Atlanta.

BB, i know you'll get brother up and running soon....ps non-hospital food works miracles!
