This weather sucks.

I love this weather. Put on some ugly socks, make a pot of vegetable soup and take a walk on the beach. It is beautiful on the beach when it is cold and overcast.

Tell me about it. I was supposed to be out there fishing today. Spending the day in the office today cuz there's nothing better to do. :angry:

My rant- out of town on small vacation= good. Three work days of missed emails totaling over 120 (responses needed for about 40), two projects to complete that should be further along by others who were doing the preliminaries, and bills to pay all by tomorrow at 5= not so good. Need a haiku or deux..

Here ya go--I'm ready to rant! I'm providing illustrations.

Last night I had a lovely fight with the shiny new boyfriend.

This morning I woke up at 5:15 and couldn't go back to sleep. I went to work instead.

By lunch I had a raging sore throat. http://www.sowal.com/bb/[url=http:/....net/imgs/smile/sick/sick0025.gif[/img][/url] By 3:00 I had body aches. I am on an incredibly strong dose of antibiotics already for bronchitis, but the school nurse told me that he thinks I need to be tested for strep.

I made an incredibly personal reply to a message on Facebook before I realized it was a THREAD.

Then I split my favorite pajama bottoms. There is nothing that says, "Your butt is way too big" like ripping a pair of pants...

One of my friends called me to see what was up with me, and I couldn't help but laugh (even though it caused tremendous pain in my throat.) Sometimes it's just so awful that it's funny...

I have mixed feelings about being "hooked up" with the "panty guy." I know we're talking about the guy who robbed Victoria's Secret, but I keep getting a mental picture of one of SWGB's buddies...


OH!!! I forgot part of my rant:

Yesterday, BEFORE I got in the ridiculous, nonsensical fight with the shiny new boyfriend ("relationships scare me but I want to be in a relationship with you...") I had an email from another very nice man who wanted to take me to dinner. I don't think I've been seriously pursued in the space of a year EVER. I can't win.
