I needed to start this thread for a bit of pity and a momentary wallow in my misery.

:violin:

For six rental seasons, I have done the same thing. I arrive to our place and do the bi-annual change out of slipcovers. Washed the Summer covers, put them up and put on the Fall covers, which had been washed last Spring.

Mr. K calls me last night and says we got a bill for the deep clean. Fine, good. Then he read me the ridiculous amount they have charged us for DRY CLEANING all the slipcovers!!!! We even were charged for "upholstery cleaning" the outdoor cushions, which I always wash! So, I just washed slipcovers that were recently drycleaned (I told them to never do this). :bang:

Thank you...I feel better. I will be having a meeting today.

Go ahead...rant away!

:lolabove: Ha, although I think that true OMB's would have had some cracks in them, thus the price will be lower.

My random rant......this thread takes too long to load. We need a Random Rants Part II.

oh! you of the sharp eye! you are so right! where are the cracks?

Yes, that is a bicycle on 30-A.

Yes, there isn't enough room for you to pass them and stay in your lane.

No, you do not need to give them so much room that your car is completely in the other lane.

Yes, it would be nice if you actually checked for oncoming traffic before using the entire oncoming lane to pass said bicycle.

P.S. It's a red octagon w/ the word "stop" on it and there's a line painted on the pavement to help you figure out where to perform said action. How much easier can we make it?

Recruit volunteers to swing that red octagon on its post and whack the offending vehicles.:bicycle::whack:

How the hail do you have any hearing left!?!

I am inside my house, all windows closed & curtains closed, with the washmachine running, talking on the phone to the Scooterfolk (both AARP card holding former hippies in the same room talking on their cell phones w/ poor reception) and Mama Scooterbug, a woman completely deaf in one ear says "what the heck is that!?!" because your CAR STEREO is so pucking loud it is louder than ME talking into the phone!!!!

i was thinking about waking up early to repay the noise favor. i hope shooter is a barker tomorrow morning

Maybe you could accidentally set off a car alarm early tomorrow morning! ;-) If your car doesn't have one, a well tossed magnolia bud might trigger one.
