I think kurt was only washing it every 6 months. Thanks to her "educational" rant he has seen the light and gotten out the bleach.

I caught up on my reading today and just have to say that I could have lived without it.
I have a big can of Lysol in my office, a big can that stays at my house, a little purse sized can if I ever need it, and a can that I will take with me if I don't quite trust my lodgings. Lysol can cover a multitude of sins.
I hope that we've all learned that it is a matter of simple courtesy to turn down or remove the comforter if we're going to get frisky and bump uglies in a rental house. (This is why no one will rent to Phead, though. I'm afraid I'd have to burn the comforter where he stayed...)

So, it's Monday....the sprinklers came on. Molly went outside and I called her to come in, but she did not come. It was dark and I heard water. FTLOC...half of the backyard was under water!!!! I got Molly in, dried her footies and went out with a flashlight to investigate. There is water bubbling out of the ground on the side of the house! I have called the water department. They are sending an emergency truck out...I had to wake Mr. K to tell him to get in the shower, stat! Guess I'll be waiting on a plumber today.

What a pain! Was it a sprinkler head? Why didn't you turn off the sprinkler system or the water meter at the street? Hubby taught me how to take care of all sorts of such problems because he used to be out of town so much, and invariably he would be out of town when this stuff hapened.
