WTF? Did you have on a trapeze jacket that made it appear that your boobs were on the back?
Just about. And of course I spent 5 minutes trying to tie it only to walk across the hall and unite it.
Oh dd...get out that interactive weather map I sent you. Guess what is getting ready to happen????

Why are dogs afraid of the rain?16 days in a row here and a dog that whines and whimpers w/ every storm. It is flooding and I have three kids stuck in the house!
Because they know they smell bad wet.

Yeah, I'd like to get some guy to agree to having his OMB smashed like that. Men must be the ones who invent these torture devices because if they had to endure this, they'd think of an alternative.
The technician always says, "Don't move." I feel like saying, "May I scream?" And they always say, "Now just relax." How in the he*l can you relax under the physical and mental torture of that process?

The machine used on me today was a new one and was actually not bad at all.
Well, except she kept having to undo the smash (like 3 times) at first to find the connection.

Be careful, Kitty!
Well, you all know why I keep a gun (in a locked box) next to my bed.
There had been a couple of dozen robberies in town, and I knew most of the victims -- our kids were of similar ages, and we were of similar socio-economic levels. D was in Tokyo, and BJ and I were home alone. Normally we would have been at Mom's in Atlanta on Friday night because I was scared. But I was too tired to drive to ATL after a hard week at work and decided to go to bed early and drive to ATL the next day. I suppose because the lights were off early and D's car was gone, the burglars assumed no one was home. They cut the phone lines, broke down the back door, and entered the house. The burglar alarm going off woke me up. I figured that it was a malfunction and went to the control panel in the bedroom to reset it. It wouldn't reset. So I went to the phone and called 911. The phone line was dead. The burglars had cut the phone line to keep it from calling the monitoring station. I woke up BJ, and down the stairs we ran. I mean, there were burglars in our house, but we couldn't jump off the second floor gallery to escape them. So we just ran like crazy to the garage to get to the car and escape (on foot would be too slow -- we have acreage). BJ noticed that the double-doors to the living room had been broken down. I thought, I'm not letting my poodles escape, so I went back inside, grabbed the poodles, and put them in the car with BJ, and drove away. Thankfully our neighbors across the road were throwing a 16th birthday party for their daughter, so seeing the activity over there, I drove over there screaming for help. Our neighbor and a friend called the police and secured our house until the police arrived (at least 15 minutes and we only live 2 miles from the police department headquarters). The police searched the house for the burglars, and we determined that despite some items being in disarray, nothing was stolen. The scary part is that on several of their break-ins, one of the males raped the female occupant, and he will be in jail for a while. The female burglar spent a couple of years in jail and is out now, which really scares me.
Anyhow, like I've said before, I keep the alarm on even in the daytime, I sleep with a cell phone and a gun in a lock box by my bed because by the time the police get there, you'd be dead if someone broke in and had no qualms about harming you.

Thanks, BR...I'll sleep like a baby tonight!
Recently a man at my church (and the father of a girl I've known since toddlerhood) was at home with his wife when they heard a noise outside. He said that he hasn't grabbed his gun in years, but he did that night. He stepped out the back door to look around, turned to his wife and said, "It looks like one of your hanging pots fell."
She told him she didn't have hanging pots, and as she spoke he saw a change in her face. He turned to find a man in a ski mask coming around the corner, firing shots.
My friend ony shot once, but it caught the guy in the face. He had to sit with his gun pointed at this dying man until the police arrived. They think he was on meth.
I've never worried about locking the door. The most valuable thing I have is my piano, and I doubt that anyone is going to tote it out of here. But after that, I changed my mind. You just don't know what these meth-heads are gonna do.

Ha--! No idea. I had that picture of the morbidly obese women in bikinis ([ame="http://www.sowal.com/bb/showthread.php?t=13915"]SoWal Beaches Forum[/ame]) and then SOMEBODY hacked it and put an even grosser picture of a bunch of skinny women in bikinis. (We think that one of them was actually topless.) So I googled me another bikini picture.
They actually kind of look like me when I was young, though.

When it rains, it pours in Bama huh? Coming home from Sowal driving through Bama we went through a patch of clouds and buckets of rain that nearly scared my belly button back out.
