Quest Hospitality Concepts is actively seeking passionate hospitality professionals to join the front-of-house team at Scout, a refined sports tavern from Quest Hospitality Concepts that offers an elevated yet approachable, full-service dining experience. Front-of-house roles looking to be filled include:

• Host/Hostess
• Server

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Host/Hostess

• Managing the wait list, taking reservations, and collecting guest information through the online reservation system, Resy
• Greeting all guests with a warm welcome upon arrival
• Providing guests with an accurately estimated wait time
• Accommodating special seating requests when possible
• Relaying messages to servers, server assistants, and managers
• Thanking and acknowledging guests as they leave the restaurant
• Performing daily cleaning tasks to ensure overall maintenance of the restaurant

Server

• Taking orders, making recommendations, serving food and drinks, providing accurate bills, processing payments, and fulfilling needs in an accurate and timely manner
• Being friendly, proactive, and efficient
• Learning about the variety of food, beer, wine, and spirits offered at Scout
• Cleaning and clearing tables
• Handling multiple tables and tasks at once
• Maintaining all health and safety regulations in all kitchen and dining areas
• Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as preparing ingredients and restocking inventory
• Supporting in other tasks as needed

Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Previous restaurant experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional
• Willingness to work at peak hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends
• Can handle a high volume of guests
• Act in accordance with Scout guidelines
• Good attitude with a passion for high-quality service
• Constant standing and walking
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crawling
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
• Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work
• Constant computer/POS register usage
• Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas through oral communication
